"CJ!" My dad called for me.

I angrily sighed as him yelling throughout the house was unnecessary. I met him downstairs, he was in the living room on the couch. Downing a couple of beers, well, it was just an observation as to see all the empty beer bottles sitting in the coffee table.

"Yeah Dad?" I questioned, crossing my arms.

"Im having some friends over." He said. Before he could finish, I was already frustrated. But I knew what I needed to do.

"Get yourself some dinner-

"-And stay in your room. I know dad." I said, finishing his sentence. As I headed to the kitchen cabinet to just get some leftovers that we had from last night, I never really knew why I had to stay in my room. My dad always said that it was very important business and we can't at all be bothered. But I just know thats some bullshit.

Just leave it alone CJ. I scolded myself.

I took the leftovers and hurried up to my room. I closed my door and I guess my dad was following closely behind me because I heard a key click into something on the other side of the door. Assuming it was a lock for safe measures. One time, I was being nosey and I may have opened my door but I didn't get to far. Not even halfway down the stairs. I was heavily snapped at that night. The only words that I picked up from what they were saying was, "Its bound to happen soon, too soon." Which I take lightly because I have no clue what that means. The night was going by fairly fast before I caught myself falling asleep while binge watching a show I've recently been into. Its not much of my type of show, but this one was captivating. The basic summary of this show is that this poor boy stumbles upon a fancy high class suit shop he has never seen before. Of course he can't buy anything but he still wanted to explore because he has never seen such like it. He gets a suit and tries it on in one of the dressing rooms but he was touching everything and accidentally got transported to a secret room. I suppose you can tell the rest, right? He becomes a spy by mistake. Im still watching it and can't wait to see the ending. Anyways, that was the last thought running through my head before blacking out on my bed.

Squinting my eyes open, the sun was right in my eye. I was blinded by the sun that next thing, I had fell onto the floor.

"Gosh." I groaned as I got up.

"What a rude awakening." I scratched my hair. Looking around my room, getting my senses back to me, I open the door and head downstairs. My dad always wanted to me to ask him about him, and what he did. Sometimes he wouldn't even give me a direct answer, especially about his meetings with his friends but he still likes the acknowledgement. He would get mad and angry if i didn't. Selfish man, I tell you.nAs much as I didn't even want to open my mouth, I was hungry. Cereal sounded great. And cereal is worth the few seconds of opening my mouth, I guess.

"So, how was it?" I asked.

"As always." He jeered. Grumpy? Hmph.

I got the milk out of the fridge and placed it on the counter. I placed my hand over my stomach as it growled, as if I could tell it to stop.

"Alright, cereal...which one should i take?" I pondered. I stayed staring in the cabinet for a moment, deciding what I wanted. A sound, that sounded fast, but far away then could be heard. My eyebrows furrowed and my eyes darted to the outside. I listened for it and for a second, I thought it was gone because it went quiet. I looked back at my dad who was already out of the door. In that moment, the noise got loud, too loud in fact. I was then met with a big flash that blinded me and I was thrown back.
