"Im William. We are in the facility of the NightStrikers. NightStrikers is an agency. A secret one. We would like to keep it that way. Now, we are looking for a man that we tracked and it led to your house. Do you know anything of him. Also, condolences for your house." He said. The mood got more serious now. He wasn't seriously talking about my dad right.

"Well..what does he look like?" I asked.

"Black hair, 6'0, Fair, brown eyes-

Oh gosh, well i mean, there are many people that look like that!

"-And has a scar across from his eye to eye."

I gulped and froze in my place for a second.

"N-no. Why?"

"He has been creating some kind of organization. To help him with a weather machine."

"Weather machine?" I smirked and laughed.

"Laugh all you would want. This weather machine would create a tornado, the worlds biggest and hugest that no one could be able to stop. It would go through the whole world, in every state, country, everything. Most likely would destroy 75% of the population."

I never felt my smile smacked off of me so fast.

"How can I help?" I said worried.

"Luckily, this will not come for another couple of months. It will take them a long time. How would you like to help us research?" He questioned.

"Sure." I nodded.

"Are you sure you wanna help? It's a very dangerous job. Your life will be at risk." He said.

"Better mine than 75% of the population." I said. He nodded and had a little smile on his face.

"Come with me." He got up from the table and headed out. I followed him and went into another closed off room which had people in it. There had to be at least 20 people in here.

"Change of plans, Steven. I have a candidate." Will chirped.

"Glad to see you finally have come to terms." Steve said looking directly at Will. Then at me. He motioned his hand to the group of people, they all looked around my age. I stood where they were. They were all in rows. There were barely people in the front, all in the back row so I just put myself in the front. I wasn't trying to squeeze myself in.

"Alright. Hello agents. You were all picked and chosen to help in missions and assist to save the world and help encountering problems. Only 7 of you will be picked. Again, stepping into this room was already a sign that you know you are risking your life. What will and eventually happen will be very dangerous and I can't promise many you will make it out alive." Chills came over my body. Is it too late to get out of here. What even is this? Bootcamp?

"I'll be giving you sometime to mingle with each other. This is where you will be staying for the night." Heads turned around to see the room once more. It was pretty bland. It was a long room and pretty wide. Beds framed the walls, toilets on one side of the room where there was a large mirror. I assumed it was a two way mirror. The toilets didn't even have privacy, and boys are creeps these days!

"After, get some sleep. You'll need to be rested for tomorrow because it's going to be a big day." Steve emphasized big and then left. All of the agents who I assumed, every agent had to bring in a candidate to this bootcamp or whatever this is, had left the room. Once the door shut, the talking began. I turned around, there was a lot of kids in here. One that caught my eye, was a group of girls and a group of boys. The group of girls, were looking in the mirror, fixing their appearances and probably talking crap about people. There were 4 of them. The boys, uh oh they're coming my way. There were 3.

"Hey pretty lady." He smirked.

"Whats your name, lovely?" The one on the right smirked. One in the middle had black hair, and brown eyes, right had brown hair and brown eyes, left had black eyes and brown hair. The left had major eye bags and cuts and bruises. I kept my eye on him.

"Yours first?" I hesitated to say my name.

"Rob, leave her alone." A girl who had black curly hair and brown eyes spoke.

"Stay out of this one, Kim." Rob, the middle one spoke. His eyes still focused on me.

"Theres a lot of girls in here, and out of all you choose this one?" The left one chided. I was a little offended, though it was true.

"Whats wrong with me?" I said confused.

"Don't listen to him. His name is Jim, by the way." He then leaned in and whispered. "He's always like that so don't worry."

I nodded as he backed away.

"I'm Matthew but you can call me Matt. Now, your name." He insisted.

"Its CJ." I said.

I then saw Jim walk away. What is his problem? Rob and Matt noticed.

"If we make it out, bet ill be seeking you out." Matt said as he grabbed my wrist tightly. I tried to wiggle my way out of it.

"Is there a problem here?" A tall blonde boy with blue eyes questioned which made Matt let go of my wrist.

"No, and even if there was, stay out of it sea nerd." Matt said leaning close on the "sea nerd" part and hitting his shoulder to meet up with Rob and Jim. The blonde boy looked unbothered and laid his eyes on me.

"Your wrist is, alarmingly red." He glanced at my wrist. I looked down at my wrist and what once was a peach was now a red.

"Let me help." He said. He went to the first aid kit. I looked around the room, everyone having conversations. Rob and Matt now flirting with the girls who care about their appearances. It obviously was working. But they were all over Jim. I caught a boy with clear glasses and brown hair staring at me. But for the split second we made eye contact, he looked back at the girl he was talking. I was snapped out of my gaze at him and the blonde boy caught my eye again.

"My names Lucas..and let me just put this ice on your wrist. It should be back to normal in a couple of minutes, here sit on the bed." He said, sitting me down on the single bed, that felt like cardboard. The sheets were most definitely super cheap along with the mattress. Lucas was standing in front of me, holding my wrist and the ice on it.

"CJ, and are you like a medic or something? What did he mean by sea nerd." I questioned.

He chuckled. "First off, I have no idea what I was saying, I just wanted to say it to seem smart. Second, I used to work in a submarine and explore the ocean."

"Thats so cool! I've never been in a submarine before and I've always wanted to." I spoke. I could feel his eyes on me.

"Maybe I could take you someday! Hopefully." He faltered.

"No hopefully. You will. We'll make it out, turn the frown upside down pal." I fist bumped his shoulder. He seemed to be less nervous when I said that.

"Your hurt already! Pathetic." The blonde girl rolled her eyes as she walked by.

I looked to Lucas who was about to get up but I put my hand on his arm.

"Don't worry, I'll get her later." He looked unsure at first but nodded.

Alright, enough mingling. Get to bed and rest.

Lucas did a quick nod to me as to say night. I did one back and as I surveyed the room with me, I saw Matt staring at me creepily. Shivers went down my spine. Gross. I looked to the other side of the room, the bed diagonal from me. The boy who was staring at me from earlier was still staring, but again once I looked at him, he looked away and laid in his bed. Everyone turned off the light beside their bed. I closed my eyes and everything went black.
