Dad

We stood in front of the machine, unaware of the couple of guards that was on the side.

"Hey!" They yelled. There were about 7 guards.

"You forgot some Dinger!" Danny reported on the microphone.

"Theres 4 of you! You'll be fine!" Dinger reported back. He was panting while saying that but he was right. One guard shot at me but I rolled to the side and dodged every bullet that he tried to shoot at me. I ran to him and slid on the floor behind him. I put him in a headlock and put my pistol against his head and shot it. He fell to the floor in an instant. I then got in a headlock by another guard, his gun right next to my head. With all my strength, I managed to flip backwards and slam him to the ground, grabbing a knife that was left on the ground right next to him, I toppled on top of him and lodged the knife right into the guys heart. He went limp. I looked to the others, more bodies on the floor. Jim was getting held by 2 guards. I took the knife out of the guys heart and ran to Jim. I threw the knife to him, he caught it and threw it into the guys neck. I grabbed the other guys shoulder and put my ring up to his neck. It shocked him and went unconscious. Danny and Kim already had their guards dealt with, to prove it the bloody bodies were on the floor.

"You owe me for that." I panted.

"I had that." Jim defended himself.

"Lucas, hows the de-activation going?" Danny asked through the microphone. Lucas didn't respond for a second, which made us all worry.

"Lucas!" Danny repeated.

"Yeah! Sorry! It's doing fine, I'm almost done!" Lucas said back. We all did a sigh of relief.

"Dinger? How are you doing?" I asked.

"I think that power nap really helped! All these guys are getting so annoyed with me but I could run forever!" He said.

"You are dead!" One of the guards could be heard from the background.

"Alright, so what do we do now to pass the time?" Kim asked.

"Stay aware." Danny said.

"So who is Chris Jackman?" Jim said suspiciously. The eyes directed to me. God, this is the part that I feared.

"I-I don't know." I stuttered.

"Cut the bullcrap! Hurry up and say, stop playing dumb!" Jim retorted. His voice raised louder.

"Is this that thing you didn't want to tell me?" Danny said puzzled, but connecting the dots together.

"What thing?" Kim inquired. I was starting to get overwhelmed. They were all staring intently at me.

"Its me, im the thing." A familiar voice crept. We all turned sharply, putting up our guns.

"Vine.." Kim mumbled.

"CJ. I was afraid you died. I'm happy your alive." He smiled. Oh that smile was nostalgic. I couldn't believe this. I was facing a gun at my dad, never did i think this would happen. The others gave me confusing looks, eager for me to explain.

"CJ..What..the hell..is going on." Jim said pronouncing every word separately.

"Classic. You haven't told them. I'm not surprised. You are always so kept to yourself!" Chris scoffed.

"The weather machine is de-activated! Go now!" Lucas yelled through the microphone. We all quickly turned and aimed our guns at the gasoline tanks but our guns were forced out of our hands. My dad acted just as swiftly as we did, he had pulled out a large magnet which I think the guns all got sucked too. He turned a switch off which released the guns. He then kicked them all far away. We heard a familiar voice.

"Let us go!" Kat squirmed. About 30 guards had to have been down here now. 3 in the front were holding Lucas, Kat, and Dinger.

"Hello! Glad you joined the party. I'm so glad all of us are here now." My dad said with glee. The guards pushed them in the little circle with us.

"Whats going on?" I heard Dinger whisper but my dad put his finger up to his mouth.

"So, where we left off...CJ. Is there something you wanna tell everyone?" He asked. Everyone was looking at me, lost and confused. I wanted to say something, but the words couldn't form out of my mouth. My dad looked more impatient as the seconds passed. His smile soon disappeared from him.

"JUST SAY IT GOD DAMN IT! OR I'LL KILL YOUR FRIEND!" He roughly grabbed Kat and held a knife up to her neck.

"Just say it already CJ!" Jim fumed.

"Fine! Vine is Chris Jackman. He is my father!" I snapped. Everyone was pressuring me, I just couldn't stand it anymore. My dad pushed Kat back to us and he laughed menacingly. I looked at everyones faces. Danny, betrayed. Jim and Dinger in disbelief. Kat, disappointed. Lucas, anxious and unsure. Kim, she looked, different. Sort of empathetic.

"Are you fucking serious, CJ!?" Jim's fists were forming in a fist.

"I can't believe it." Kat looked speechless and Danny dared look at me.

"G-guys. I promise I'm not on his side! I don't even like him I'm on your guys side!" I pleaded.

"What's the holdup!? The big tornado has almost wiped out 25% structures across the whole country!" Steven said throughout the microphones. The others glanced at each other, thinking.

"Actually, she's been working with me all this time." My dad lied.

"What! No no! He's lying!" I denied. Jim and Dingers face all turned into anger.

"And to think I saved you from falling." Danny muttered under his breath.

"I-is this true, CJ?" Lucas's voice sounded hurt.

"Not at all! You're not gonna believe him, right? He's the opposing person here!" I pointed out. There faces didn't seem convinced.

"Come on, are you guys actually dumb? She was with us all this time. And if anything, you dont even know this Chris guy, all you know is that he's trying to destroy the population. Hello! Red flag! Are you really gonna believe the villain versus CJ, the one that we know would never do this and she was with us all this time. Training. Plus, I'm pretty sure the agency would know." Kim went on my side, announcing it to everyone. After she explained, they all looked a little more lenient.

"Cute speech. I would love, absolutely love to be involved in this little group therapy but I want to be able to see what my masterpiece of a tornado has done. So let's cut it short." He smiled. The guards all marched in unison. Time to start fighting, great.
