Don't play tough

"Where do you think you are going?" Danny said. I looked back, seeing that everyone was still messing around and Danny was the only one who noticed me going to leave.

"I can't wait for hours, Danny." I confessed.

"You seem dead set on this vine guy, do you know him?" Danny joked.

"What!? No." I was caught off guard. Danny noticed and I hoped he didn't suspect anything. 

"I was kidding.." I nodded as his response.

"Are you really not gonna listen to me." Danny speculated.

"You could die!" Danny nagged.

"I just want to talk to him, I will go now, thank you!" I smiled at Danny, he had his arms crossed and I walked forward while turning around and bumped into a chest. I looked up to see Dinger.

"Move, Dinger." I exasperated. When I went left, he went left and vice versa. 

"Sorry Sugar. But your life is too precious." Dinger put his shoulders up and down.

"You can't not flirt for one second." Danny mumbled.

"Its a blessing!" Dinger said proudly.

"More like a curse." Jim added.

"If your going, you're gonna need help, you know." Kat had her pistol in hand, walking up to me.

"Are you seriously considering this? If she wants to die she can die." Jim barked.

"For once, I agree." I said to Jim.

"I know where the planes are located." Kim sighed. "I swear, if we die, CJ.."

"We won't die. I promise that." I vowed. Everyone in the room took a quick look at each other, wondering in their minds if this is the right decision.

"Can't believe I'm doing this." Lucas sighed as he put his glasses on.

"I guess we're going, then?" Danny sounded defeated.

"Gosh." Jim was fustrated but hopped off the table and headed his way to the door.

Kim led all of us to the planes, we checked if any were open and luckily, one was. It only took us a couple of planes to try.

"So how are we gonna fly!?" Dinger questioned.

"My dad was a pilot. I got this." Kat said. We trusted Kat and explored the plane a bit and sat down.

"Now this, is a kind of luxury I never thought I'd experience." Dinger said, plopping down on the chair and observing everything.

"Tell me about it." Jim said doing the same. 

"So, where are we going CJ?" Kat yelled from the front.

I opened my watch and looked at the trackers history. He had almost been in almost every state but where he dwelled in most was Hollywood.

"Los Angeles, Hollywood specifically!" I yelled back. Kat started up the plane and as we were going up, it wasn't very sturdy, in fact i thought we were gonna die right then and there. My trust in Kat suddenly disappeared. Everything shook and Kim fell to the floor.

"I thought you guys trusted me!" Kat yelled, proud that she made it up into the sky.

"We were lying." Danny jested.

"How long is this flight gonna be?" Kim asked.

"5 hours if I play it safely, 3 if I'm feeling risky." Kat informed.

"Perfect either way." Dinger sighed happily. Dinger and Jim reclined their seats and snuggled up in it, closing their eyes.

"What are you guys doing?" Lucas said confused.

"Its a power nap." Jim said blankly.

"Trust me, this will help me reach my ultimate power." Dinger said.

"W-whatever works for you." Danny said judging them.

I looked out the window ignoring the conversation that Danny, Kim and Lucas we're having. The only words I picked up were, "I'll help her." Kim went to the pilots cabin because Kat was complaining on how the screen wasn't working for the mapped path. A couple more minutes passed and Lucas said, "I'm going to use the bathroom." I heard his footsteps walk away. Which just left danny there and I had a feeling that Danny would want to talk, not like its a bad thing but I felt him staring at me. 

"CJ" There we go..

I turned my head. "Sup?"

"Is there something your not telling me?" His eyes looked desperate for an answer. My heart skipped a beat, not sure exactly what he was talking about. I had a few things in mind..but I mean that was just my wild imagination.

"W-what are you talking about?" I stuttered a bit.

"When I joked saying that you knew Vine personally." My heart was relieved but I still wasn't out of the situation. One thing goes wrong and I could have him and everyone else turn against me. 

"N-no! I was just joking around with you." I laughed but he didn't laugh back. I felt like he knew something but he just wanted to hear it from you personally. He plopped back in his chair.

"Whats the matter?" I asked, turning towards him.

"I don't like when people keep secrets from me, it makes me feel like I'm not worth someones time or..or...I'm just worthless!" Danny babbled. He looked frustrated. 

"I'm sorry Danny. I don't want to come off like that to you." I comforted.

He just looked at me, his expression showed guilt.

"If I tell you, I'm afraid you and everyone here would hate me. It could ruin everything!" I explained but this time he just turned away from me.

"I heard that one before." He mumbled.

"Danny, I-"
Lucas came back from the bathroom and sat down, acknowledging Dannys mood. Lucas made face expressions with me and mouthed some words.
"Whats wrong with him?"

"I messed up." I mouthed back. Lucas look like he wanted to know what I did but he didn't want Danny to be even more mad. Great CJ. Just great. You can't do anything right. Now, how is this gonna go when I come face to face with my dad? And I already made everyone come on this trip, so if anything, everyones blood is on my hands. God I shouldn't have said that. A whole wave of fear and stress just came over me. I have to fight my dad, save the world from the weather machine, make sure everyone makes it back, find some way to apologize to Danny, and hopefully make amends with the agency because we just stole a jet and went off on a mission without any guidance. Ugh, I didn't even think about that.
