Chapter 1.

i woke up to the sound of my phone ringing i turned around in my bed stretched look at my windows to see the tree leaves followed by the bright sun then seeing the garbage truck pass by my crib like usual i answered my phone it was my best friend Tracy she stay calling a girl while she sleep😂
Tracy: girl where are you ??
Me: i just woke up *yawns* what's up
Tracy: girl do you not see what time it is... it's 12:00 pm shouldn't you be on your way to work by now
Me: omg *drops* phone
Tracy: hello
I rushed to bathroom and quickly did my hygiene went back to my room which was messy per usual and grabbed a simple but still classy fit for work thank god this job is only 20 mins away from my house which i love dearly
as soon as i arrived to my job my co worker Kelly who is always in my business had something to say
Kelly: hello Mrs Fab
Me: hey friend how are you gonna get on my bad side today
Kelly: girl no i just came to ask you if your presentation is ready for the meeting today
Me: wait what i thought that was next week
Kelly: nope they wanna see everyone's presentation today for the company let me guess mrs....clubbing every day till I'm 40 kicked you in the butt today huh

*doorbell rings*
who could that be at my door i said to myself
*opens door*
Tracy!!!
Me and my bestfriend Tracy go way back we've been bestfriends since kindergarten and we've both came so far together we're both in our 30's now im 34 she's 34 tracy has a high paying job as a dentist one beautiful daughter aka my god daughter shayla who turns 5 in a few weeks that i love to death she was always their for me me and vice versa my main whenever i need a shoulder to cry on she was always right their did i forget to mention she's a ZOE🇭🇹!! like myself
Me: look what we have here let me guess grio and rice *points at the plastic bag restaurant bag*
Tracy: no girl it's Greek food you know I can't eat haitian food all the damn time now
Me: Greek food ??
Tracy: yes Greek food girl you can't be eating haitian food forever now baby we don't live in Florida no more hun this is Houston city life bitch *laughs*
Me: well you can keep that to yourself i was just about to call for pizza
Tracy: whatever it's really good though you should try it *passes a spoon of Greek salad*
Me: no thanks girl I'll pass *sits on the couch*
Tracy: fab I'll never get over the fact that you live here all by yourself *sits next to her* this 2 story house 5 bedrooms 3 baths I know you get lonely *eats a spoon of salad*
Me: Tracy girl I'm not gonna have this convo with you right now I'm fine I don't need a man right now my main focus right now is my job because without my job i wouldn't have my house
Tracy: girl bye i could've saved you a job at my place don't even do that besides you need to settle down and have a family of your own before it's too late
Me: Tracy are you trying to be my love doctor right now because if so that ain't finna happen do you not remember all those dates you put me on and me and the guy never lasted no more than 2 weeks
Tracy: girl not all of them... you don't remember jermaine the fine lawyer you guys lasted more than 2 weeks
Me: yea your right me and him did last more than 2 weeks...
Tracy: see...
Me: me and him only lasted 3 more days... until i found out he was gay when i walked in on him giving his witness some head at his house *laughs*
Tracy: what how come you never told me
Me: you didn't need to know because i knew what you would say

Me: maybe next time
Tracy: no not that i would've said maybe next month

Tracy: *stomach grumbles*
Me: damn girl your still hungry
Tracy: no my stomach been hurting for the past week now and I've been throwing up like crazy
Me: hmmm was it something you ate
Tracy: not that I can remember plus my puppy been all up on my stomach ever since I've bought it for shay i don't know why
Me: have you told Rodney
Tracy: what you trying to say girl you know me and Rodney not speaking right now
Me: when was the last time he saw shay
Tracy: 2 weeks ago why and he's with her today
Me:hmmmm has it ever came to your consideration that you might be pregnant again Tracy
Tracy: what no last time he came... *pauses and gasps*
Me: girl what
Tracy: I think I'm pregnant my mom is gonna kill me you know she hated Rodney since prom night back in 98'
Me: girl y'all relationship is something else...
Tracy: girl just go run to the store and get me a pregnancy test
30 minutes later
*front door opens*
Tracy: took you long enough
Me: girl I had to stop at McDonald's and get me chicken sandwich to replace my senses from that Greek food smell that arouma been all over my damn kitchen *laughs*
Tracy: gimme the test *hands her the pregnancy*
15 minutes later
Me: MRS JOCElYN YOU BETTER WHOOP HER ASS!!
*bathroom door opens*
Tracy *sniffles & wipes her eyes
Me: what are you...
Tracy: nods
OMG!! *they both hug each other Fab rocks Tracy back and fourth*
Me: team boy
Tracy: you already know im team girl all the way
Me: I'm so happy for you girl another edition to the family shay is gonna be so happy for another sibling
Tracy: i know now my doodabooty won't be getting on my nerves all the time
Me: true and if you plan on having a gender reveal for this baby let me know and you know I'll make time and help you prepare
Tracy: girl like you always do I should be heading home it's getting late plus i gotta pick shay up from her dad's place at 7
Me: right I'm so happy I got to see you even though you be here almost everyday
Tracy: me too girl I love you
Me: same here *hugs her*

I'm so happy for my bestie Tracy and y'all know I'm all for the kids I already got so many nieces & nephews back home that i miss 24/7 having children is a god given gift and such a beautiful process another baby to look after,to hold, to feed I'm so ready to meet him or her hopefully one day I'll have kids of my own if i ever meet the right man if he's out their for me
Jacob POV:
life is great now I'm working on my new album C3 which is my third project out of the connection album I'm excited to say this is probably my favorite album yet I'm excited to say I have Toni romiti on this album my brother from another mother Trevor Jackson and more this album speaks to mind of young and old souls it gives a very much old school r&b vibe back which i think we all need right now im in the studio right now putting my 2nd verse for save myself when i get a call from my big headed ass older cousin Rodney...

Jacob: nun just in the studio working man almost done finishing my new project
