"That has to be Grey." Mason ran to the stairs. We followed him except Leo.

He stumbled a little and had a hard time standing.

"How about I take him outside? Will you guys be ok?" Lucas looked between us worried.

"Good idea. Tell Madi to bring the car closer to escape."

We ran towards the stairs and heard Lucas tell Madi the whole idea. She gave feedback as we sprinted up the steps.

"There he is." Opal looked down the hallway at a whole group of people dressed in the same outfit as us. They moved hurriedly and a lot of them ran away.

"GET OFF." We heard a loud voice boom.

A guy then flew off and landed on the floor with an omph.

Holding his gun up Mason came towards the group slowly. They didn't mind as they thought he was part of them and I hid behind Mason. Opal tried going unnoticed.

It failed when one of the people said "Traitor!" And pointed at Opal.

She pulled two knives out and held them up in self defense, but one of the people grabbed her arm and twisted it.

The attention now centered around Opal and Mason ran to Grey.

"Get the fuck away." He held the gun to Mason's face.

Coming behind Mason's back I looked up at him with fear. Does he not recognize us?

"Grey, It's us." I said gently behind Mason.

His face turned from angry to calm in a second and he dropped the gun tiredly. I ran to his arm and touched his chest like I was checking if he was real.

"G-Grey y-your bleeding." My tears prickled with tears as I saw my red stained hands.

"I know."

His energy drained out of him and his eyes fluttered to stay open. He slowly leaned against the wall behind him and sat on it weakly.

"Take him! I'll help her." Mason pulled his gun up to the group of people surrounding Opal.

Shakily I made my way to Grey and lifted his heavy arm around my shoulders. He groaned and lifted his eyes slowly.

"Grey. I need you to be strong for me right now." I tried to stand up.

He got the message and slowly lifted himself up. He leaned his weight on me and I was struggling. I knew Grey had muscles... but they weigh this much?

"Come on." I groaned as I pulled on his arm.

"Madi can you help me get out fast." I spoke to the earpiece.

"Sure thing V. Ok, head to the stairs and go down only one.

I shook Grey to wake him up and we made our way slowly down the stairs.

"ok, there should be a door? It leads to a hallway."

Sure enough there was door and I made my way to it with a limping Grey.

"Hey! You!" A man yelled at me.

I turned around and saw a man in the uniform I wore and had a stern look.

"Why are you holding a captive?"

Grey moved his loose arms and grabbed my gun on my leg and held it up. He looked at the man and then shot immediately.

The mans face was blasted and I shrieked at the blood covering everything. I hid my face in Greys arm and screamed.

"You- You just killed a man!" I yelled.

"Violet, he would've killed us too without a doubt."

"V? V? Are you there?" Madison asked.

"yeah." I shakily made out.

"Ok, go up the ladder and we'll drive you out."

I shakily made my way to a ladder and helped Grey grab the bars to make his way up. I lifted the door latch and opened it as Grey put his hands around my waist for support.

"Ok, let's get out of h-here." I still was shaken.

"We're here. Let me help you." Jamie anxiously made her way towards us.
