𝚌𝚊𝚔𝚎my stomach is in knots.
"Hey V? Are you breathing?" Opal asked behind me.
I inhaled a quick breath and shook my head.
"Not exactly."I wanted a small reserved wedding. What I didn't expect was a guest list taller than me! Grey used this time to invite all his friends or "acquaintances". Really just business partners to impress.
I can't get mad at him at all though. I told him he could, but I didn't expect how many would actually show.
"My baby! You look so beautiful." My mother held my face in her hands.
My dad came behind her and looked at me with a somber smile. "My little sprout is all grown up." He tired to cover his sad look with a bright one.
"V! You have to be down the isle in five minutes." Maddie ran into the room.
My eyes widened and I breathed heavily. My dad grabbed my hand gently and looked me in the eyes.
"Lady, it'll be all ok. Come on," He gave a warm smile.
I nodded and followed his step. He led me to the doors and with two minutes to spare we stood outside the wide doors. He put his arm and mine and kissed my temple.
The doors opened and musician began playing on the piano. I looked to ground and saw little white flowers sprawled on the ground. The venue was grand with intricate designs on the walls and high ceilings. The church had a beautiful display of stained glass in the background and lightly spread colors around the church.
Looking to the front I walked slowly with my father and held onto him tighter. I came closer to Grey and his eyes scanned my dress.
It made my cheeks bright red. A wide smile brightened his face.
Reaching him my dad handing me to Grey and whispered something in his ear.
He said a quick "Yes Sir." and I wondered what he said. He gulped slightly and then looked to me with a smile.

The wedding reception was in full swing and lights flashed with people dancing.
Grey and I had the first dance and he wouldn't stop leaning down and whispering things. Things I wouldn't dare repeat. Some were sweet comments about my appearance and other were about my appearance... just dirty.
Next I had an emotional dance with my dad and couldn't help tearing up.
I made my way off the dance floor and walked to Grey.
He was sitting at our table with a drink to his lips and those silver rings tracing the cup.
Putting his cup down he pulled my waist as I stood next to him. His hands grabbed my waist and I couldn't help but to look around. I don't want anyone to see us all touchy. I don't mind him doing it I just feel like it's disrespectful at a wedding. Even if it is ours.
"When's cake time?" I asked a waiter. She told me she'd check and come back.
"I can make it now." Grey rose from
his seat.My brows scrunched together confused and then looked to his smirk and realized it probably wasn't good. "Grey Jones." I sighed.
"Yes, Violet Jones?"
It was the first time I'd heard him say that. It sounded so good rolling off his tongue and with his voice. His voice that was hard and strong like whiskey but was so smooth. I can't wait to listen to it everyday.
I looked around at everyone and my eyes caught sight of Opal.
She sat alone at a table when a girl with a purple pixie cut tapped her shoulder.
I forgot to tell her I invited Lili.
Her address was all the way in France and even though I haven't talked to her since high school, I really wanted to invite her.
Opal turned around and held her face in her hands as if she was crying.
I decided to look away and advert everyone's attention so they could talk in private.
"Let's go cut the cake!" I picked his hand up and jumped a little.
We made our way to the cake as it rolled out. Everyone was dancing, drinking and conversing. I smiled as I looked at the cake and my face didn't plan on stopping.
I had dreamed of this moment since I was a little girl.
I didn't imagine the whole tall, scary, business man- that Grey is, but I truly wouldn't have it any other way.
"I want to thank everyone for coming again. If everyone will gather around we'll cut the cake!" I said cheerfully.
Putting one hand on the knife, Grey put his on top of mine as we gently cut into it. It was simple white cake with dozens of roses around it. It wasn't really that simple considering it's almost as tall as me, but there aren't any extravagant designs. Just the way I like it.
The cake cut softly and together we pulled the first slice out. We each took a fork to feed each other but instead I decided to stuff it on his face. Cake went all over his face. Some men looked at me like I was crazy.
Grey gave his usual glare that would kill someone but I'm immune to it. I pulled his shoulders down and licked up a piece of cake. Everyone laughed and I took a bite of my cake from his fork.
