i woke up to someone shaking me "get off me" i said in a serious tone "y/n, its two bit" "oh hey, now why'd you wake me up" "ur shaking, and it keeps waking me up" "oh sorry" "its all good, are u cold" "yeah" "sit up" "why" "just do it and, come over here" "okay" i scooted over to two and he put an arm around me "this isnt helping two" "this is all we got right now, you'll survive." i layed my head against his shoulder and fell asleep. i was woken up by a bunch of laughter and i jumped off the couch and went to get water "morning" darry said sipping on his coffee i gave him a nod im not in the mood for talking. i went to sit back down and two was still sleeping even after i slugged his arm off me and sprung off the couch being as loud as i possibly can hes still sleeping soundly.
"y/n" steve called "hm" "what are u gonna do when everyones at school and work" "stay home" "there is no way ur staying home after the whole u got beat up mess" dal butted in "well dal, what are u doing" "nothing sitting around all day" "ill stay with u, an we'll find something to do" he smiled and then johnny walked through the door. "could be better" i said walking up to darry "i need this" i said hugging him he was just standing there "are you okay" "im gonna be with dallas all day so what do u think" "hes not so bad" "he's probably gonna get us stuck in the cooler" "no he wont ill talk to him before i leave" "thanks dar" he gave me a smile. "two" i said knocking on the bathroom door "yes?" "can i come in" he opened the door and motioned me to come in "can i help" "help with what?" "make you look presentable for school, obviously" i smiled "sure" he said "give me that comb please" he handed me the comb and i started brushing back his bed head hair. " i think i like ur messy hair better" i said. "okay, im done" "put this on" i handed him the deodorant "are you saying i smell?" "no, everyone puts deodorant on" i said and walked out and sat next to steve "want some" he said with a chocolate cake all over his face "no thanks, but what u do need is a napkin" he just smiled "two bit, mickeys on" soda shouted and two bit came running from the bathroom. i heard darry calling dallas's same from the kitchen "dallas do not be getting y/n in trouble" "i wont" "we'll see about that. now protect her, i dont want her getting in any fights." darry said with a stern tone "i understand" "im serious dallas" "i know" dal said. "come on were gonna be late" pony yelled "bye y/n" johnny said "bye johnnycake." everyone left. two was last to leave he gave me a smile before walking out the door. "what you wanna do today dal" i said "i dont know lets get outta here" "what. darry said he doesn't want me getting in trouble" "i know." dal said with a stern tone "were just going to get food and get groceries for darry" "if something happens to me its on you" i said pointing my finger at his chest "doll, you know i wont let anything happen to you" "can we go to the school and have lunch with the boys" "sure" "thanks dal" i said giving him a kiss on the cheek "lets go im starving." we got in dals car and drove to the nearest diner i ordered pancakes and so did dally. when we were eating a few socs walked up "dally, behind u" i said with a shakey tone "come on guys not today" dal blurted out as he turned around to look at them "you beat up our friend so ur gonna get in winston" the black haired soc said "come on not today, im with someone right now, later" "dallas what the fuck" i whispered to him, "ill handle it okay" he whispered back. all the sudden dally grabbed my wrist and we ran out the door and got in the car as fast as we could. "what the hell was that all about, i didn't even get to eat my food" "i beat up one of there friends" he said staring at the road "they were gonna hurt johnny and i didn't know what to do" "i see dal, its okay i understand, lets just go get stuff from the store and pick up lunch for the boys and the groceries darry wants" he nodded back in response. we went to the nearest store. "okay, here darrys list" dal handed it to me "milk, bread, eggs, orange juice, snacks, oatmeal, sugar, flour, thats all, uhm ill go get all of this and you go find sandwiches or something for the guys." he nodded and walked off i grabbed everything and headed over to dal "u got nothing while i was over there, you can't accomplish getting damn sandwiches" "i cant decide what to get them" "pepsis, sandwiches, and pickles is it that hard to get sandwiches dallas" "yes, yes it is" i grabbed the sandwiches and everything else. "come on lets pay" dal handed me some money "hey, heres some cash" "thanks" i smiled. we payed for everything and started heading to the school "do we just walk in there and get the guys or what" "i mean, i guess" i said "get the food out of the back and lets go" we walked right in the school to the lunchroom waiting for the boys to come through the doors "there they are" i said running across the room to johnny, pony, and two. i ran up to johnny and hugged him "what are you doing here" he said smiling" " me and dal brought y'all lunch" "you guys are the best" two said smiling"hey pony" "hey" he said "you okay" "he got a b on his test, he doesn't wanna talk about it" two said "pony its passing you dont need to worry about that, its a good grade" i said putting a arm around his shoulder and then dal came running over "slow down y/n, christ, ever tried walking" "lets eat outside, im hungry" i grabbed johnnys hand and we both ran outside to get a spot "ur so full of energy y/n" " i'm just excited to see u guys" "excited to see two bit*" "johnathan cade" i said slapped him lightly "what, you have been hanging around him for a few days and you never do that."
