we started walking down the street to go get food. one thing i realized me and two do a lot is laugh so much sometimes even too much. he was talking about darry needs to cool it sometimes and was mocking things he said i couldn't help but laugh. i was getting stares as people that were walking by and me and two looked at each other and i laughed even louder then before i stopped when i seen bob and randy walking down the street near us and i froze. bob hurt johnny really bad and im not gonna forget about that seeing johnny next to me beaten, bloody, half dead looking broke me seeing my bestfriend like that not only johnny but he hurt me too. not as bad as johnny but he still put his hands on me and hurt me. he tried to drown pony. and even randy helped drown him. the two area always bothering on and bobs girlfriend keeps hanging around pony. and i dont like it one bit. marcia is real sweet she was hanging around two for a while. i liked her a lot for being a soc and all. i just didn't like how two was into her. i never really like any of the gangs girls if they ever got one. mostly because there my friends and seeing ur friends bonding with people that aren't you or the others sucks it makes you jealous or angry maybe even annoyed. "y/n" two said shaking me. i forgot i was still standing there frozen. he was bent down to my height now and he moved a strand of hair out of my face "its okay" he said grabbing my hand and standing up "lets go eat" "no.. bob.. hes just.." i stuttered and two cut me off "he walked away" "oh" i looked up and started walking not making eye contact with him. "y/n you dont have to be ashamed of what just happened" "no. i just stood there for god knows how long not saying anything and stood frozen with people starting at me as they walked by." "i know" "do you know how embarrassing that is. what if people that go to school with us seen?" "well at least we're embarrassed together" i smiled at his comment. he always knew how to make me smile whether what kind of mood i was in. "where do u wanna eat?" "i dont care you pick" i said flashing him a smile "how about the dingo?" "theres always a bunch of drunks there" "well there not there during the day" i sighed "fine" "walk faster snd we can get a booth" he said grabbing my hair and running up the sidewalk. we made it to the dingo and we ran into the only booth that was left. we both finished our food while sharing laughs. we started walking home and i heard someone walking behind us. they were catching up real fast i immediately let go of twos hand and he looked at me confused. "hey two bit" the voice behind us said. cherry. well great i thought just what i need today, to hear her obnoxious voice. "hey cherry what are u doing over here?" two asked "marcia wanted me to give this to u" she handed him a folded piece of paper "thanks cherry see ya around" she waved a goodbye at him. she never made eye contact with me what was her problem. her friends have a problem with me, she has a problem with me, her scoundrel little like boyfriend has a problem with me. we started walking again i watched him open the folded paper and i seen what it said and immediately looked away it said something about how she wanted to go catch a movie with him. he knew that i seen what the note had said he crumbled it up and he threw it on the ground and swung an arm around me pulling me closer to him "im not going with her u know" "i know" i said "good" we walked to the curtis house which was around the corner from where we were at. "anybody home?" i shouted "y/n we would know if they were here. be smarter" "you be smarter" "i already am" he said picking me up and spinning around while tossing me on the couch planting a kiss on my lips. we were in the position for a few minutes until the door handle turning. two got off and pretending he was going to the bathroom and i pretend like i was getting water. i dont know what the boys would do if they seen me and two like that. out of everyone i think dally would flip the most. u wouldn't have guessed who came threw the door, dally. of course it was dally because like i just said he would flip the most out of all the guys. thank goodness he didn't see i mean u would think johnny would flip cus hes my bestfriend and all but dallas would go nuts. after me and johnny getting beat up dally doesn't allow me to have any special things with guys or go near any other guy except the gang ofc. a matter of fact none of the guys let me go near any guys or have romantic things with guys except darry. he thinks i should get myself a boyfriend or someone at least. "hey y/n how u been" "amazing you?" "im great man" "good for you" i said patting him on the shoulder and walking to the couch "wanna go to a party tonight?" dally asked me "who's coming?" "the whole gang" "sure why not" "glad u wanna come, i was gonna drag u out of the house weather what answer u gave me" he said flashing me a smile "do i have to dress up?" "if i were you i wouldn't wear that to a party" he pointed wt what i was wearing and started laughing "ur mean winston, be nicer." "im never nice" "oh shut it" "its true" "u have a soft spot and we all know it" i said pointing my finger at him "i dont have a soft spot for no one" "oh so from what i hear, you don't have soft spot for johnny?" "oh you.." he said wrestling me on the floor "you cant hit me but i can hit you" i said slapping him "what was that for" he started rubbing him cheek "for lying to me" "i didn't lie" "yes you did. you have a soft spot for johnny" "leave it" "we all have a soft spot for someone dally, nothing to be embarrassed about" he didn't say anything "and its not like im gonna tell someone u have a soft spot for him i wouldn't do that" i paused for a minute "wouldnt wanna ruin ur reputation you got going on" i said sarcastically "asshole" he muttered under his breath "what was that? did u say u want me to tell people u have a soft spot for johnny cade?" "NO" "must of heard someone different" i said laughing as two came out of the bathroom "what are we laughing about?" he said to me "oh you know just stuff" "stuff?" i nodded my head "you should come to the kitchen with me to get water" "but.." i cut him off "come to the kitchen with me to get water" i grabbed his arm walking to the kitchen "dal and johnny" "what about it" "ya know" "i already knew" he said "what? how" "they make it obvious" "true. well okay i seriously need some water tho" "ill get u some go sit down on the couch " "thank you" i said planting a kiss on his right cheek.
