i went out of the bathroom to find somebody and i ran into steve. "hey y/n" i gave him a fake smile "wheres two bit" i shrugged "when can we go home" "now, we can get all the guys and go" "okay" "follow me" he put an arm around my shoulder and walked around to gather all the guys. we seen soda and dally so they started following us to get the others.
"oh guys" they all stopped walking and turned to look at me "johnny got hurt" "what do u mean he got hurt" dal asked serious "dont worry i found him and i cleaned him up so hes okay" "why are you telling us this now?" he asked again "i couldn't find u guys earlier, hes supposed to be looking for you"i paused "could you not tell something happened look at my dress" they didn't say anything just kept walking around until we found johnny sitting by the food with pony "johnny are you alright" dally asked concerned "im good man" "well lets go were going home" they both got up and started walking. we still need to find two bit. we found him he was by the booze drinking it. he hasn't drank all night until now he must be pretty mad. he had a right to be mad but not that mad i already had explained to him why i didn't wanna tell the guys before anyway i thought he would understand. i looked away from his view "hey were goin home come on" pony told him and he got up and walked behind everyone. the walk home was just small talk or no talk at all. when we got to the curtis house i went straight to my room and got in my bed. i heard a knock at my door and went to open my door "hey?" i said "hi" steve said "do u need something" "are u alright" "yeah why" "well two bit looks mad and u dont look too happy urself" "oh well could u ask him to come here" "sure" steve came in dragging two bit "he didn't wanna come in" "hey" he didn't respond "im sorry really" he just looked at me "you left me in the bathroom u were supposed to stay with me" "i know" "i wanna be able to be with u when there around too believe me i do i just dont wanna tell everyone and ruin something amazing" "i understand i just wanna be able to kiss you and sit next to you" "well dont worry cus dally already saw us together before" he smiled "can u stay" "im gonna leave the house and come through ur window" he left the room and steve came back it "everything is good" "its great thank u" "goodnight "goodnight" he closed the door and i locked it. i headed over to the window to open it and he crawled in i motioned him over to my bed and we sat on it facing each other. i grabbed his hands "you promise to be here when i wake up" "i promise" i layed my head on lap and drifted off to sleep. i woke up and he wasn't in my bed i sat up and looked around "nice hair princess" my eyes widened and my hands flung to my hair but i didn't care at the moment i looked at him he was sitting on the chair i had in the corner of my room "you stayed!" i flung off my bed into his lap smiling "of course" i kissed his cheek and got up to go fix my hair "stay here" i went out of my room and to the bathroom to brush my teeth and just get ready. i went back to my room and picked out some clothes and went back to the bathroom to change into a t shirt and jean shorts. i walked back into the room "how long have u been awake for" i asked "a few hours" "why didn't u wake me up" he shrugged "are the guys awake" "darry is thats all" "oh" "im gonna go back to my place and shower and stuff" he smiled and i brushed a kiss on his lips as he climbed out the window. it was a monday so me,pony,two,and johnny had to go to school. i went into the kitchen to grab some food i decided a apple would do and i went and sat on the couch. dally walked in slamming the door i looked at him and shook my head "whats ur problem princess" "ur my problem" i said getting up to throw my apple core away he followed me into the kitchen "why am i ur problem" "you just slammed the door while other people are trying to sleep" i yelled in a whisper" "so" "so? do u not think of others" "of course i do" "like who? johnny" "yes" "why are u up so early" "im bringing johnny over, hes in my car" "how come hes not inside?" "he's putting his shoes on" he said and i nodded in response and walked away "doll" "hm?" "are u interested in anyone?" it felt rude to keep walking and ignore the question, i know. but i didn't wanna give an answer. i went to ponys room to wake him up "hey ponyboy" i paused "and sodapop get up" they both groaned and i went to go head out the door and dally stopped me "you didn't answer my question" "you obviously didn't get the hint" i pushed passed him "what hint?" "ur great dal honestly i luv ya but ur an air head" i was up against the wall and he was in front of me with his hands to the wall trapping me in "whats that supposed to mean?" "im very interested into someone now leave me alone" "y/ns got a boyfriend" he said a little loud so that everyone could hear "why would u say that" he shrugged giving me that devilish smirk. i grabbed food i seen on the counter and shoved it in my bag and headed out the door. twos house was just a few houses down so i headed over and knocked on the window i thought was his. i could tell from the mickey mouse sticker i seen on the window. he opened it up "y/n" "hi" i hadn't noticed he had no shirt on and he pulled me through the window into his arms "why'd u come here" "dally mad me mad so i wandered over here" "what did he do" "well he just announced to everyone that i had a boyfriend" he laughed "thats not funny" "its kinda funny" he sat me on his bed and was rummaging through his drawer to find a shirt "u should wear a shirt without mickey on it "u dont like my mickey shirts" "no i luv them they're so cute but ive never seen u without one" he pulled out a light grey t shirt and slipped it on "do u like it" "its cute "he smiled and grabbed his jacket and carried it in one hand and took my hand with his free hand and walked out his door "wait" i stopped walking "isnt ur mom gonna see me" "not if we run" we ran to the front door laughing and went outside. he let go of my hand and put an arm around my shoulder. we started walking to the curtis house. i shrugged his arm off "act like u seen me walking down the street" he nodded and grabbed my arm not tight very light so he wouldn't hurt me and dragged me through the door "look what i found walking down the street" he said. i put a fake pouty look on my face and plopped down on the couch next to steve. "y/n you know u cant be doing that" darry said to me sounding very protective "well maybe if dally wasn't such a dick i wouldn't do that" i rolled my eyes and shrugged two bits arm off mine. they definitely are buying this. they all just stared at me and silence "come on lets go" soda dragged steves arm put the door and darry followed along so it was just me, two, pony, johnny, and dally. i looked over to dally "why would u announce that to everyone" he just stared "thats none of there business and it's certainly not urs either" i was kinda doing this just so the guys thought that i went to two bits house and we just magically walked together back to the house. but i was mad too so i was also doing this out of anger. but i did have a right to be angry and i was gonna be. i got up and walked out the door and started walking down the sidewalk. school started soon and we needed to go anyway. all the boys followed behind me except dally he went the opposite way to bucks. we walked in silence to the bus stop and waited for it to get here. i sat with two on the bus away from johnny and pony so we could actually spend time together. i put my head on his shoulder and looked out the window all caught up in my thoughts.
