"Are you done?"

She ignored the students that greeted her, walking up to her seat and chucking her bag onto the desk. She stared at her phone which had slid out of the front pocket.

Her eyebrows furrowed as she reached out for it.

She stopped.

"Ooh, bought a gift for your girlfriend. Huh?"

"Leave him alone Brandon, it's not like you could get a girlfriend." One of the girls teased him.

"Oi!"

She looked up, as e/c locked with emerald. Their cheeks set ablaze as if in sync.

"H-hey?" She was confused, he never normally talked to her when in the classroom.

"Hi, uh" he pulled out her skateboard from behind his back. "When you had to escape with Reki and Langa you left your board, so I gave it to Reki to get it all fixed up for you..." he looked away sheepishly.

The girl smiled, taking the board out of his, now sweaty, hands.

"So uh... what happened when you guys had to run off?" He asked, trying to act normal due to the amount of people giving him surprised looks. After all, Miya barely spoke to any of his classmates. He sat down on her desk, making the girl look up at him.

"Well, that thing started chasing us on Shadow's board and Reki had the genius idea to go downhill to go faster. But, I didn't have a board so Langa ended up carrying me and..."

Miya zoned out. Her hair was different today. And she looked more tired than usual...

"...Miya?"

"Huh?" He shook his head, regaining eye contact.

"I said, are you going to S tonight?" She asked sweetly

He nodded with a small smile, the bell ringing promptly after.

But one thing was bothering him.

She looked so.... Worn out....

 Worn out
