"Out of all the people you could have brought as a date, it had to be my best friend?" Haechan asked, creeping up behind Chaerin as she was losing herself in the music, waiting for jeno to come back from the bathroom

"You're really trying to piss me off today aren't you?" Haechan asked her, spinning her around by her waist

"What if some see-"

"And what about it? I'd rather them see you with me than jeno" haechan said looking into her eyes harshly and she chuckled, slightly intoxicated

"Why does it affect you? you brought a date" She said, cocking up and eyebrow and he shook his head

"Who told you that?" He asked

"Soyeon" she said, with furrowed brows and haechan chuckled

"Turns out that me and Soyeon are the only ones who didn't being dates" he said and Chaerin stood still with a deep thoughtful expression. Why would Soyeon do that? Either she was desperate to be with haechan alone tonight or she was desperate for jeno to have Chaerin as his date.

"Well I better get going, can't keep a girl waiting can I?" Haechan said, leaving her side before Soyeon could see him dancing with Chaerin.

Chaerin turned around to see Soyeon look at Haechan with a bright smile as he approached, looking past him she saw Chaerin and waved. Chaerin smiled and waved back, trying her best not to over think. Not that that she could anyway because Jeno was soon to turn her around and she placed her arms around Jeno out of surprise to stabilise herself.

Swaying around to the music, she looked over his shoulder multiple times to see haechan talking to Soyeon with a smile on his face and a wider one on hers.

"Are you okay?" Jeno asked and she turned back to the black haired boy who stared at her with concern

"You look a little distracted" jeno said, placing a strand of hair behind her ear making her sigh with a small smile.

"I'm sorry...I think I had a bit too much to drink" she said lying through her teeth and he chuckled

"Will I drive you home then?" He asked and she contemplated

"Maybe after this song" she said with a sympathetic smile, feeling bad for ending his night shortly.

"We don't have to, I know parties aren't exactly your thing" jeno said with a kind smile

"Its fine...plus I love this song" she said smiling, but she didnt. It was a song she never even heard. Staring at his face, she took in his tattoo of the cross, just below one of his eyes, his straight eyebrows making him look more fancier. The ring piercing in one ear and hanging cross earring in another with his black hair with was slicked back, she breathed out as she took in his appearance. He was indeed hot, too hot.

"Its been two songs" Jeno said chuckling as he felt tense under her gaze.

"H-has it?" She asked making him laugh even more and shake his head

"You're seriously out of it" he said and she chuckled

"One more song" she said smiling at him

"As you wish, princess" he said. As much as she loved the nickname, it wasn't from the guy she wanted to hear it from. He wasn't haechan. While it did affect her, it simply didn't have the same effect on her.

Unconsciously diverting her eyes to haechan who was glaring at her as Soyeon's head laid on his shoulder. With a smirk falling onto his lips knowing that she was now looking at him, rested his hands on Soyeon's hips.  Cocking one of his eyebrows up, he simply challenged her, and she wasn't one to lose this war.

With returning glare she stepped dangerously closer to jeno, if that was even possible. Giving jeno an innocent smile, she looked back at haechan who was poking his tongue at the inside of his cheek at the sight, turning his head slightly towards Soyeon's forehead and planting a soft kiss there, making Soyeon look up at him at the new angle.

Chaerin rolled her eyes as she watched him act all lovey-dovey with Soyeon of all people. She knew he was messing with her. She went with his best friend and now he would do the same.

Leaning into Jeno's neck, her lips slowly laid on his neck making him take a sharp inhale, tightening his grip on her waist.

Placing a long, kiss on his neck, she made sure to leave a mark, just for the fun of it. She opened her eyes and looked towards haechan who was now pressed into a kiss by Soyeon. He was the first to break away, holding her arms as he stared at her surprise. Without thinking, his eyes travelled over to Chaerin who now looked back at him with a glint of betrayal in her eyes

"Hey, you've gone a bit pale...maybe we should go?" Jeno asked, leaning down slightly towards her and she nodded looking back at him

"Can you take me home?" She asked and he nodded

"Yeah of course"

"Thanks for the ride jeno" she said as he helped her out of her seat, making sure that she didn't stumble with her heels on.

"No problem" he said with a smile

"Can I asked you a question?" He asked and she sighed, looking up at him

"By any chance, did you come to that party with the wrong person?" He asked and she looked at him with a pout.

"I'm sorry jeno" she said, enveloping him in a hug which he gladly accepted.

"I just don't think...I'm ready. I really did try today...I'm still not over mark" she lied and he nodded understandably

"I get it....when you are ready....let me know" he said and she nodded

"Can I?" He asked, placing his two hands on the sides of her face but she bit her lower lip, looking back up at him. Taking his hands off her face slowly she cleaned up to plant a kiss on his cheek before whispering in his ear

"Please don't wait for me Jeno" she whispered and he sighed

"No one else is worth the wait" he said, giving her one last smile before seating himself into the driver's seat and she turned as she watched him drive off out of the neighbourhood. Walking up the stairs to her front door, she took the keys out of her purse but before she could open her door, she heard one shut loudly. She turned around to see haechan step out of his black car, he had parked behind Jeno's car, waiting for him to leave before he could talk to Chaerin.

"What are you doing here?" She asked placing the keys into the lock and opening the door slowly as he rushed behind her, making sure to slip in before he could get locked out.

"You should leave Haechan...Soyeon is waiting" she said, with a hurt expression as she turned away from him but he only pulled her back

"Well....I have other priorities"
