"You know I can't lie for you anymore right?" Leetuk said, the doctor that was assigned to look after Chaerin and her case of "the flu"

"Yeah.....yeah I know" she replied, taking the makeup wipe from her table and wiping off the foundation that was a few shades lighter than her skin tone.

For most of the week she had pretended as if she had a fever, made herself look pale and tired so that her parents would only let her go to school for the midterms and not classes. But it had been over a week and her parents would catch on if she was to keep the act up. The fact that she had got Leetuk to lie for her could also result in him losing his medical license if her parents ever found out.

"So are you going to tell me why you're avoiding school all of a sudden?" He asked. He knew her well, he's been the family doctor ever since she left her middle school, he helped medicate her during the anxiety she had recieved after a tragic event at middle school. He knew more about her than anyone else.

"I just....haven't studied for my midterms properly" she said with a small smile and he sighed

"I know you enough to know when you're lying" he said and she turned to him with a frown

"I'm just.....scared" she breathed out

"Of what?" He asked inching closer to her

"I.....I don't know" she said, running a hand through her hair.

"You should go... I'll tell my parents you came by" she said and he slowly nodded, rooting through his briefcase to find something

"Take this, they're sugar pills so they don't have effect but....if your parents ask, they're antibiotics" he said and she nodded, walking with him up to her front door.

"Call me if you need anything else, the doctor's note isn't going to last that long to keep your out of your classes-"

"Chaerin"

Both of their heads turned around to see haechan standing outside her front door. One hand in his pocket and one hand on the arm of his school bag.

"I'll.....talk to your parents then" Leetuk said and she nodded as she left, turning her head to haechan

"You shouldn't be here" she said and haechan sighed, stepping closer to her and scanning her face.

"You don't look as pale as you did this morning...are you feel-"

"Please go" she said and he nodded

"Yeah sure....after you tell me why you're avoiding me" haechan said and she sighed, shaking her head.

"I'm not avoiding you"

"You are...and I don't think it's because of me" he said

"I haven't done anything wrong and trust me I have been over thinking every single thing I've ever done to you...did your parents say something or....mark or-"

"No....its nothing just go away" she said walking back into her house and trying to close the door but his hand stopped her from closing the door.

"Chae....if you close this door on me....you're telling me that everything you said that night was a lie" he said looking at her

"Look at me, look at me and tell me that you don't feel the same way about me" haechan said but she couldn't bring her eyes up to meet his

"Chae...I need an answer" he whispered and she took in a deep breath before looking up at him

"I don't......want to see you anymore" she said. As if she had ripped his heart out with her bare hands, haechan felt weak, lied to, betrayed.

"I don't get it" he said, not believing what had just happened

"You don't have to" she sighed, closing the door at his face leaving him standing on the porch, facing her closed door as if it resembled her. Closed off, shutting him out.

She couldn't he with him. If her mom was to find out how they started off their relationship there would be no way they would even last. There would be no way her dad would accept him. She needed to stay away from him. Who ever that person behind that number was, they had something against her.

Unknown number: since you're doing a really bad job at staying away from Haechan, why don't you busy yourself with more guys like the slut you are.

Unknown number: play with both Jeno and Mark's feelings without them catching on, maybe that will keep Haechan away from you and keep the whole school from finding out about your whore sessions

Unknown number: I don think the word "slut" looks good on a college application

Unknown number: tell anyone about me, you'll be sorry

You can no longer reply to this number
