I read the lid over and over again. Was he serious?!?!?
I looked up at him, about to say something, when he places himself on one knee and pulls out a small box.
My eyes go wide.
He clears his throat. "Christine, My Love. When I first saw you, those few years ago, I immediately knew that we would be together. You are my light. My world. My everything."
He opened the small box and I gasped. It was a beautiful diamond ring. He continued to speak. "And I would like for you to be my forever." He said as he took the ring out of the box and held it out to me. "Will you marry me, Christine?"
I smiled and nodded. "I will."
"Y-You will?" He stuttered, "You will m-marry Erik?"
I nodded again. "I would be honored."
He smiled and hugged me. "Thank you, Angel, thank you."
"No need to thank me, Erik." I say as I look up at him and smile. Suddenly he gasps, "The ring!" He said pulling it out of his pocket.
He took my hand, "May I?"
I nodded as Erik slipped my engagement ring on. I held my hand up to my face and smiled.
