"Is my makeup right?" I asked franticly as I searched for a mirror.

"Yes, Sweet Pea. It is." My Dad said as I tried to calm me down by giving me a hug.

"Dad! You're wrinkling my dress!" I said as I tried to smooth it out.

He chuckled. "Just like your mother." He said as he checked his watch for the time.

I smiled softy and looked down. "What if he changed his mind?"

He looked down at me and shook his head. "If he did," He smiled to himself. "We would be attending a funeral, not a wedding."

I laughed. That was a good one. "Thanks, Daddy."

"No problem, Sugarplum."

Just then, the door came open. "He's here! He here!" Nadir whispered/screamed.

I giggled as I watched him close the door. I knew he probably took off running towards the alter. He was going to be marrying me off after all.

Dad offered me his arm and I took it. He placed his hand over mine and smiled. "I'm so proud of you, Baby Girl." He said as he music began and both of the door were open.

I gripped the bouquet in my hand as we began to walk. I immediately looked up and spotted Erik.

I smiled upon seeing him, dressed in his best suit. He had his hands clasped in front of him and was looking down at me. Never once looking away.

Dad lead me to the alter and turned me towards him. He gave me one last hug and kissed my forehead. He had tears in his eyes as he walked over to the first row of seats and sat down beside Ayesha. Those were the only two watching the wedding take place. No one else.

I turned back towards Erik with a small smile across my lips. He grinned down at me and offered me his hand. I took and he helped me stand up in front of Nadir.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today..."

As Nadir spoke, Erik's eyes never left mine. Never once did he look away, which I was grateful for. I probably would have fainted of he did.

"The rings." I heard Nadir said. Dad stood up and took the rings from his pocket and handed them over to him.

Daroga handed Erik mine and he slipped it on my finger after he repeated what Nadir had said.

Next, Daroga turned to me. I took the ring and smiled up at Erik.

He smiled down at me as I slipped the ring over his finger.

"By the power vested in me," Daroga said as he closed his Bible. "I know pronounce you, Husband and Wife. You may now kiss the bride." He said and then Erik kissed me.

Erik smiled and held out his arm and I took it as we turned to face down the aisle. "May I present, Mr. and Mrs. Erik Destler!"

Erik lead me down the aisle and out of the door.

He smiled and lead me towards his car. He had 'Just Married.' written on the back of his car, along with a few cans tied, laying on the ground.
