CHAPTER 4: The Escape

I wanted to clear something out, as I've already mentioned before that though this is a tom Riddle X Reader fic , the entire story won't revolve around only them. So, Tom will appear only after chapter six. Sorry :/

But believe me , all these chapters are required for the plot. From the reader's POV, she doesn't much know about the current situation of the Wizarding World. Before she takes on a deadly mission, she needs to know what is going on and she needs to face it herself to willingly take on this mission to save the Wizarding World. She will have second thoughts and dilemmas. So, these chapters are required.

But you're free to skip these chapters and jump into their relationship but I tell you this again there will be more to this story than just tom and reader relationship.

And I'm trying to make this fic as real as possible, from finding out about the Wizarding World to actually doing magic.

It has been almost half an hour since the Carrows left your compartment. In the mean time you tried to come up with every possible solution to your current predicament. You need a way out from the clutch of these Carrows.
You were trapped. Shoot! What will I do now? What is the possible way out?
You almost started hyperventilating.

Calm down y/n, calm down! - you tried to console yourself. There has to be a way out! Goddamn it! Taking deep breaths and slowing down your heart rate, you started contemplating on possible escape plans. Whatever the plan is , you've got to think fast. Time is running out. From out of the window, you could figure out distant dimmed lights.
Hogsmeade station is not far. You presumed.
But you do not have a plan yet. Any plan you'd start to consider on , was sure to kill you at the end, one way or other. And you certainly didn't want to die so soon or rather in this way.

I've spoken this same sentence for the second time in 2 hours. Great!

You are in a death trap now with no possible way out. You didn't want to think what could possibly happen if the Carrows took you with them. You certainly didn't have any wish to take the mark nor did you want to visit voldemort now without any knowledge of what's happening in the magical world. Nothing could make you take it. And you didn't know what Voldemort would do if you refused to take the mark, worse yet if he knew about you being the last hope of the Wizarding World, then chances of you getting out alive would be, negative :). Even if he didn't knew about you , you'd be killed anyways when you refused to take the mark.Then there was this chance of him using you to his advantage. Oh! You are in so much trouble!

You weren't a witch. There were worse possible scenarios that could happen and with you being powerless, you didn't want to think.

You composed yourself from nearly panicking again. Seems ,I have to get used to panicking or hyperventilating at every two seconds, here! You thought sniggering. Panicking won't help you escape Anyways, you need to think and think fast. Hogsmeade was near, the lights were no more distant outside and you knew the train will soon slow down. Without thinking much you started taking precautions, that might just prove helpful. Anyways, taking precautionary measures helped you gain a bit more confidence.

First , you covered yourself in all black , with a hoodie that came down enough to cover your face but not enough to block your view. You even put on a mask that was a dark (f/c) in colour. Thankfully you wore black boots before you were teleported by portkey, so you didn't need to worry about them. You were feeling confident in this black on black look, you'd easily pass for a real witch, hell! You'd even pass for a death eater. As long as they didn't want to see my mark that is, you thought a bit nervously.
