Waking up to a new morning, with new plans and a boost in your confidence, you jumped off your bed and started preparing for the day. An empty dormitory met your sight initially before Evie entered, fully dressed and set for the day.

"Good Morning (_____), had a good sleep? No pains in the night or anything?", Evie asked as she sat on the bed's edge across from you. A hint of concern was evident in her voice despite her trying to mask it.

"Yes I did actually have a great sleep. Thanks to the pouring last night. Aaand...no! I had no pains, nothing.", you reassured her and a small smile erupted on her face.

"Madam Harper has asked me this morning to inform you that you will have to visit the hospital wing at noon for check up", she informed as her expression took a serious turn, as if daring you to say no. You understood the silent warning and though you didn't want to go to the hospital wing so soon, you nodded your affirmation.

You started to pack your required books for the day following the routine, feeling particularly pleased and grateful for all this you are receiving, albeit temporarily.

"(______) ?",

"Hmm?" You gazed up to Evie, whose eyes were following your actions like a hawk, it appeared. She seemed a bit too much concerned

"I think you are missing your prescribed potions",

She is

Evie reminded and truth be told you did actually forget everything about potions. Not that you were dying to have those 'tasty' stuff .Therefore with an awkward smile you quickly moved towards your drawers and taking the little corked vial, you dropped the designated five drops of the offensive potion into a goblet after filling it with water. Pinching your nose you gave Evie a last look of helplessness, to which she urged with a nod, as you gulped the entire goblet.

" I swear even Dippet's beard tastes better than this piece of sh--" , you exclaimed but stopped at the surprised look of Evie.

"I can't tell, I haven't had it unlike you", Evie retorted with a straight face. You stilled for a moment before chuckling. Evie just smirking like the sly little slytherin she is.

Finally, Evie's hawk eye left your person and she too having packed her bag previously headed out of the dormitory. The common room was more or less empty in the morning. A few girls, particularly the Parkinson and company were occupying the couch talking in excitedly hushed voices which were indistinct. That did seem to grow a bit obvious upon yours and Evie's arrival.

"I'll meet you in the breakfast hall, alright?", Evie suddenly said,

"Sure", you nodded with a small smile. She held your gaze for some moments before hastily rushing out of the common room. That prolonged gaze confirmed that she didn't want to be in this girls' presence anymore than she wants to be with a Quintaped and neither wants to interfere into your activities inside the common room. If you had any before going to the breakfast hall that is. And you had, a tad bit of observations to make.

The common room in all its tranquility had some first years- it seemed from their surprized expressions- who were crowding the windows viewing the underworld of the Black Lake, and one or two students sitting far from these noisy engagements as they silently persued their assignments or some book. Mr Model student was nowhere, very predictably. Even his 'friends' were also not around. Therefore, with a smirk, calculating the effects of your plan, you left the homely common room.
