You landed with a thud on the hard ground. Groaning and a bit swaying you stood up. All that spinning from earlier has made you dizzy. You couldn't see anything clearly. You closed your eyes and leaned onto the nearest object you could find for support and let the dizziness pass.

After a few moments, you opened your eyes only to find yourself in the middle of a dense forest with huge trees with even huger trunks. You were leaning against one of these huge trunks. They were looking ancient and it took you no time to figure out, it was the Forbidden Forest.

The sun has set a long time ago. You couldn't know the time, as it was around 2 or 3 pm when you left the future. It was dark and eerily silent inside the forest. With a shiver you realised it was freezing cold on top of all these.

Grunting, you quickly rummaged through your bag and took out a dark coloured coat -thankfully you packed before this journey-, and put it on tucking the time-turner safely inside your shirt. It was completely hidden. You sighed satisfactorily and the steam out of your mouth as you exhaled told you, you've arrived here sometime in the winter or the starting of winter. Rubbing your palms to generate heat, you figured you've stayed here for a long time and it's wise not to stay any longer; it can be dangerous. You should probably move towards the castle.

Putting your thoughts into action you started walking but stopped abruptly realising you didn't know which path would lead to Hogwarts.

Why does it all have to be so bloody confusing?! You thought exasperatedly.

Anyways there's no point in losing your cool. You took out your 'wand' and held it flat in hand. It was your last hope. Putting all your magic- that you apparently have- you focused and muttered,

Point me

The wand moved of its own accord and directed towards the left. You knew Hogwarts to be in the North of Scotland. Still having second thoughts, you walked in that direction. Besides, you didn't have any other options, did you?

Sighing you continued your tread. Observing the forest clearly this time, you noticed, the radiant moonlight that fell over the trees, casting their shadows on the ground. The dark forest happened to be a great contrast to the ever fluorescent moon.
