CHAPTER 13: Lethereis Manesco

A/N; here's your new chapter. Hope you enjoy it and that it's worth the wait....

The second week of September -as you were already one week late to the Wizarding world- was more or less productive for you, what with all the new classes, professors, assignments and preparation for the N.E.W.Ts. Apart from the productive activities, nothing much took place in this week except for the two love birds finally getting together, after that lake accident. You found out about this development in the next morning after the day of the accident, when you witnessed a blushing Cortia resting her head on Max's shoulder in the hospital wing, not to mention he was red as a tomato. You didn't interrupt them and went back to your classes.

After your first two days in Hogwarts, you have sort of fell into a routine; you usually have your breakfast with the gryffindors -Jazz, Rose, Cortia and Max, lunch has no such pattern, for everyone randomly sits and has lunch as fast as they can: not wanting to get late for their next class and dinner with the Slytherins.

Completing your breakfast you would attend your classes, and then after your lunch at noon, you would go to the library to complete your daily assignments and assignments for the N.E.W.T.s. You do not sit with Riddle doing your transfiguration assignment -or any other assignment for that matter- anymore, unless it's absolutely necessary; if you needed to ask him a question or two concerning the assignment. Riddle was cold as ever but one cannot deny his vast knowledge on magic, both in practical and in theory.

And there's always something to learn from everybody.

Throughout this week, you'd sit at your favourite place in the library doing the work all by yourself.

You didn't see much of Riddle in the week either - except during the classes - let alone sitting and working with him. He must be attending to his immortality duties. Anyways, after your study hours in library you'd explore the castle with the gryffindor trio and Max accompanied sometimes. After you are done with your explorations, you'd spend the rest of your time in your dormitory with Evie. The other Slytherin girls in your year didn't have any interest on you. They were a separate group all by themselves and genuinely seemed not to care about the new student, precisely you, and another student they don't let in their group, Evie. Well, you couldn't care less for them not caring.

And just like that the first week of you in this timeline went away and you didn't even realise that it was already the weekend and you were sitting high up in the stands on the Quidditch field waiting for the commencement of the 'not so friendly match' between the Gryffindors and the Slytherins.
