**Might be a longer one cause I want both of them in one cause I have plans for the 12th chapter so yeah. Anyway enjoy!**
I woke to the sound of- someone calling me? "Mike where are you? I thought you were coming." It was Leila. *crap my alarm clock didn't go off!* I thought. "Sorry Leila, my alarm didn't go off. I'm heading over now." I hung up and quickly got ready heading out the door in 10 minutes. *huh. New record.* I thought before closing the door.
I headed down to the station with a knot in my stomach. I never wanted to see his face again. But it's part of my job as a detective and since he was the murderer in a case I was part of I guess I have to go. I entered a d was approached by Leila. "Finally! Let's go. Yaka is in the interrogation room." She said taking my hand and leading me there. When we reached the door Leila stood by me. "Want me to go with you? We could do a good cop had cop routine!" The first sentence was serious but she became playful at the second part. I rolled my eyes with a small smile. "I think I got this." She nodded and walked with the other detectives and such on the other side of the window as they monitored what went down. I walked in and sat across from Yaka who was handcuffed to the sliver table in the middle of the room. Yaka seemed almost...bored. For some reason it made me mad. "So. You've been a mass murder for a long time then, considering you basically confessed everything when we caught you. Pretty stupid in my opinion." I said keeping a calm and straight expression. "Yeah well I figured why not. Probably gonna be dead anyways." Yaka shrugged. (Author-I also needed space to explain. Mika-Stay out of this! I'm mad at you too ya know! Author-*Le Gasp*) (*Fourth Wall Reinstated*)
"We're not giving you a death sentence if that's what you think." I said rolling my eyes. "Oh I'm not worried about that." He glanced at the window where the detectives were. "I think I'll keep my mouth shut. This time around." Why he glanced over at the window I don't know. "So you work for someone else. Care to say who?" Yaka looked at me and looked like he was thinking as he narrowed his eyes at me though I already knew what he was gonna say. "Nah. Like I said I'm not talking this time." He said simply with a small smile. This ticked me off. The lack of information, how he was so laid back, everything. Like a good detective though I kept a straight face. "Still no expression huh? You know maybe I will talk. Give you some expression again." He grinned wickedly and I was curious. What could he say that would give me emotion on my face. I never found out for Leila had came in.
"Come on Mika. Times up." I looked at her confused. "What? But he's about to say something. It could be important." It looked like Leila's grip on the door intensified but that's the only give away to show that she was mad. I only saw it because I know her well enough. "Whatever he's going to say probably won't be true. He's just trying to mess with you like the sick bastard he is." She said rather calmly. I sighed figuring she was right. I got up and without another word left. "Till next time!" Yaka shouted with a cheerful tone I knew all too well to which I wanted to cry again but didn't. The door closed and I went to see the chief about setting up a court date.
"Sir, you wanted to see me about Yaka's court date?" I said opening the door. There seemed to be papers everywhere. "Huh? Oh yeah. Sorry don't mind the mess. New case has everyone in a downward spiral." He said pulling a few certain papers out. "Here. Fill these out and send them to the court room. You should get a date soon after and- hello?" The chief had picked up the ringing phone. "Yes, yes, I know! I'm working on it!" He said then huffed as he hung up. "Sorry ignore that." He told me what to do but before I left I asked. "Hey do you need any help with the case?" "Oh no. Its all good. You got your hands full already I won't ask anymore of you." The chief responded going back to the scattered papers. "Well after I'm finished with this case I'll be sure to help." I said. Chief looked a bit relieved. "Alright. I'll be waiting." He nodded with a small smile. I did the same and left the room.

Soon the court day for Yaka came. Only it didn't really turn out how we expected. Was it because there weren't really any witnesses? Was it because all hell broke loose? No. The reason why it didn't turn out as we expected was because it never happened at all. The day of the court hearing Yaka was found dead....
