"Why cant you let me sulk in my room..." I whined a bit as Leila dragged me to god knows where. "Alright we're here." We had stopped in front of a building that said *Shooting Range*. "Your gonna blow off steam here cause no way in hell are you not mad. So let's go!" Leila said as she proceeded to drag me inside. "Just try it." Leila said. I sighed knowing I wasnt going anywhere until I shot it at least once. "Wow...that felt better than I thought..." i said over to Leila. "See? Now if you wanna stop I under- oh okay.." Leila started bur I shot a few more times cutting her off. Surprisingly it was very calming. "See? Wasnt that better?" Leila said once I finished. I stubbornly looked away. "Uh huh. That's what I thought. Come on." She said grabbing my arm. "Where are we going now?" I complained. "To ice cream idiot." Leila responded. "Well why didnt you say so?" I said now walking beside her willingly. She rolled her eyes with a small smile.

"Alright. Get your ice cream and sit down." Leila said as she got hers and went to a table by the window. When I got there and sat across her she said. "So...about tomorrow...the chief wants you to help. We need to further interrogate Yaka and we need to set a few things up as well such as a court date and....and a replacement if possible..." I froze. Just looking at the table. I don't know why but I just froze. Maybe it was the thought of replacing Yaka. I know she just meant the position but to me it sounded like we were trying to replace him all together. And then I was supposed to interrogate and help with the court stuff? "Listen if you don't want to I'll say I tried to get you but you wouldn't budge. I'll say I begged on my hands and knees like I was begging for my life." Leila said with a smile making me shake my head with a slight one. "Screw you and your ice cream it was a trap all along." I said then sighed. "If I'm really needed...then this is my job and I need to do it. I'll be there." My face was a neutral expression. "Alright. Now I won't have to actually beg cause I was told not to go back unless I had you on board." Leila said eating her ice cream some more. We both knew she was messing around but that's just how she was.

After our ice cream Leila walked me home. We just talked about just random stuff as we walked. "No I'm telling you it was him. I swear it was. He looked just like the picture you showed me in the year book just older." Leila said. "No I told you he moved to America and I doubt he ever came back." We argued about this for a little before we reached my building. "Alright well I gotta go. I'll see you tomorrow?" Leila asked as she pulled me into a hug. "Yeah, yeah I'll be there. Don't worry." I said as we pulled apart. "Alright see you tomorrow!" She said running off in the direction of her house. I shook my head wondering why I became friends with her, then I remembered it was because she was everything I wanted to be. Everything I wanted to be, but couldn't be.
