The Colorist Demon (Part 1)

The Pain Games

Music was playing, people laughing, playing harmless games, and Zane loves it. He thought it was going to be violence just like the other events but it turns out that everyone's taking this Festival pretty serious.

"Ladies and gentlemen! The Pain Games event will begin in 10 minutes!" Wally yelled at his mic.

Zane needs to find where they sign up for the games. Managed to find it in time with only one minute left but it was guarded. He had an idea but he has to make sure the guard doesn't see him. The guard was bored because he has the guard the stupid list then he heard "Think Fast!" Something hit him in the face, knocking him out.

"Sorry but I'm planning on participating in this game."

Zane signs his name on the list and walked out of there, making sure that nobody saw him did that. Before Zane wrote his name, he saw Blitz, Moxxie, and Striker's name's on it as well.

"Ladies and gentleman! For those who aren't participating in the game, please sit on the bleachers because the pain games is about to begin!"

Everybody roared with cheer. Wally was calling out names to the people who are participating in the game. After their names were called out, everyone lined up with a first round of the game.

"The first round is simple, a race!" Everyone got into position and Striker was next to Zane. "May the best imp win." Zane looked at Striker and told him "We'll see who is the best."

Everyone was ready and Zane told Moxxie "don't immediately run. Let them run ahead of you so we can have a safe run."

"But that will leaves us in last place."

"You and I are fast. Will probably be in first or second. Believe me."

Moxxie believed in Zane and listen to him. The gunshot is heard and immediately all imps were running except for Moxxie and Zane. The imps were laughing at them thinking that there must have been stupid but they're about to be surprised for what's about to come next.

"Now?" Moxxie said worrying that they're going too far.

"Wait for it." After a couple of seconds, Zane yelled "NOW!!"

Both of them started running immediately and the imps on the bleachers are shocked to see that they're so fast. Moxxie couldn't believe that he's running so fast. Ahead of them some of the imps actually got tired of running and the only ones that still running is Blitz and Striker.

"Giving up yet Blitz?"

"In your fucking dreams!"

Two of them were too busy taunting each other until Blitz saw that Moxxie is running faster than them. "What the f-" then Zane ran past them. Moxie and Zane were neck to neck. Both of them reach the finish line and were tied in first place.

Then Blitz and Striker were tied in second place.

Wally (the announcer) yelled "Holy Moly! Those two were at last place and immediately surprised us for a surprising first place! I wonder what those two can do next!"

Moxxie was out of breath and couldn't believe he actually reached first place. "How did you know that was going to work?"

Zane explain to him "The mud was slowing those them down and we had an advantage because you and I are lighter so we couldn't sunk."

Wally was looking closer at the two groups and immediately had an idea. "Ladies and gentlemen, let's make things interesting for this year's Festival! Since those two are working together to win, they will be in teams! Moxxie and Zane! Blitz and Striker! Are you ready for the next round?!"
