The Colorist Demon (Part 1)

The Aftermath

Zane returned back to his normal self and saw the field of dead bodies. Not just demons but also angels as well. He did not care for the Angels. Demons however is a different story. Some of them were bad but others are not. He just felt terrible that if they were innocent in their life then they don't deserve to be in hell.

Charlie saw how upset he is. "It's not your fault. They came here by their choice."

Zane looked at Charlie and agreed. "You're right. But they have to do it for a reason. What reason is that?"

Charlie couldn't find the answer and try to make up something that makes sense.

"The reason is because like you changed them."

Charlie and Zane turn around to see Lucifer, standing there with a sad impression.

Zane walk towards Lucifer. "Hey Dad. I'm sorry that I ran away from you telling the truth. I just wanted to be me. And every time I do that, some demons are trying to control me because of my power. Now that I know the truth, I wanted to tell you this." Zane hugged his father and told him "I forgive you."

When Lucifer heard that, he felt that the weight on him was gone. He hugged back Zane and said "Thank you, my son."

They let go of each other and walk through the field to see if there's any survivors.

"Holy fucking shit! That was the most intense fight I ever had in my life!"

Zane noticed that voice from somewhere. Blitz. Zane ran towards the sound of Blitz voice. "So glad you're all right Blitz! Are you hur-. Holy shit!"

Blitz was drenched in Blood and organs was on him. Zane was about to ask Blitz if he's okay.

Blitz just raise a hand and said "Don't ask. Just don't fucking ask." Zane can tell that Blitz was a little bit crazy during the battle. "All I need is a nice hot shower and a little bit of rest. And after that.... WE'RE GOING TO A BAR TO CELEBRATE THAT WE WON THE WAR!!!!!"

Zane was happy to hear that Blitz is still himself.

"I don't think I want to ask of what happened to you sir." Moxxie said as he holding Millie's arm over his shoulder. Millie must have got hurt because there's multiple stab wounds on her leg.

"Millie looks like you've been through a lot of knife battles."

Millie just laugh at that and said "I've been through tougher things, believe me. After all, I was raise in the farm."

Zane was happy to see that everybody is so far is okay.

"Okay Mox, I'll give you credit for having multiple headshots with one bullet." Zane saw Loona out of breath knowing that she was kicking the shit out of the exorcist.

"All of you look like hammered shit."

"Same to you Loona."

Everyone was laughing about that until Loona whispered something to Zane. "Clearly I need to take a shower and I don't mind if you join."

Zane blush lightly and laugh nervously with that request.

"ZANE!!!"

He turned to see Velvet rushing towards him, knocking him to the ground. "I'm so glad that you're okay and you literally kicked that leaders ass! I got it on record as well! I can't wait to post it online and show hell what you're made out of!"

Zane managed to get Velvet off of him and said "Relax Velvet. I'm glad that you're all right too. Where is Vox and Valentino?"

Vox and Valentino were right behind Velvet. Both of them were pretty injured, but still standing. "We're okay if that's what you're asking."

Then the rest of the crew arrive in their sight. "Everyone. We may have won this war, but I don't think it's going to be the end. Not only that we have exorcist now wanted to kill us for Revenge. But I have a feeling someone in hell is after me. That means we need to be ready at all costs."

Everyone agreed to Zane and will be ready for anything. Zane just realized Alastor is nowhere in sight. "Where's Alastor?"

Everyone doesn't know where he is and started searching for him. They couldn't find Alastor until Charlie found him. Everybody rushed to her location and saw that Alastor was badly damaged. He had multiple stab wounds, cuts and bruises, and he somehow is still alive!

Zane walked up to Alastor. "Alastor. can you hear me?"

Alastor open his eyes slowly to look at Zane. "Hi my good friend. How was your fight between you and the leader?" Alastor's voice was no longer radio sound, it almost sounded normal. His voice was also weak and sound like he's dying.

"Alastor I need you to do me a favor. You need to stay awake. We will help you!"

Alastor's breathing was slowing down and his eyes slowly closing. Zane knows Alastor is not going to make it. He was about to give up until his shadow was gesturing him something. Zane couldn't understand it until the shadow give him a contract.

"What do you want me to do with this?"

The shadow took a form of Alastor cutting his finger letting a drop of his blood onto the contract. Zane needs Alastor to sign his contract in order to save him.

"No, I'm not going to own somebody soul!"

The shadow shook his head and try to find a way to tell Zane something. The shadow was not going to like it but he used blood as a message.

The shadow was writing "you don't have to own a soul. You can just let him sign it without any cost!"

Zane looked at his shadow seeing that it was being very serious. Everybody was looking at Zane with a contract in his hand. Zane walk towards Alastor again and let drop of Alastor's blood on the contract. Suddenly, the contract started glowing and disappeared. Everyone looked at Alastor and saw that all his wounds are healing.

Alastor was slowly waking up feeling confused. "What happened? Why are you all looking at me like that?"

Zane answered Alastor. "Because you were dying and I saved you by you signing my contract. I don't own you and the only thing you have in return is your life." Alastor has no idea what to say. He was the most dangerous and most sinful demon in hell and Zane saved him because he cares.

Zane help Alastor up on his feet and told everyone. "Like I said, we need to be ready for anything." Everyone agreed on that. Now that's out of the way. All they need to do is rebuild Hell and hopefully extermination day does not start early again.

Zane now have the ability to let other demons sign his contracts. But Zane will not own them. The only thing that the demons get when they sign Zane's contract is protection. Two more chapters of the story. It's sad for me that the story is going to end. But that doesn't mean they are gone.
