The Colorist Demon (Part 1)

In a limo with an Overlord!

During the ride, He as no idea who Val is but he has a couple of ideas on what is. The luminox color was mainly red and pink, the two girls on the corner (one looks like an imp and the other looks like a humanoid cat) making out in sexy outfits and Val's coat represent of a pimp. Zane figure out that Valentino is a pimp or so he thought. It was quiet for 2 minutes straight until Valentino started talking to him
"First day in hell?" Zane didn't want to say anything at first but he figure out conversations better than silence.
"Yes, my first day" Zane probably thought this was going to be a very awkward situation because Angel's boss is right in front of him. Zane was actually about to say something until Valentino's phone ring. Val looked at his phone and answer the call. After the phone call, Val did not look happy after done talking to whoever it was on the other end of the line. "Driver take me at the other part of the city. I have a meeting with Vox and Velvet." Valentino said in a demanding voice. "Don't worry I'll get to know you real soon right after I talk to the other V's."Zane was uncomfortable. Why did Valentino talk to him like that?

30 minutes later

The limo arrives at a pretty expensive restaurant that Zane sees. Val got out the car and demand the driver to park someplace that is closest to the restaurant. After parking, Angel started talking to him. "I'm surprised that you....." "Before we have a normal conversation, can you answer me a question?" Zane said an annoying tone. "What's up with that guy? Why is he after me all of a sudden and what does he mean about getting to know me?" "Don't worry. Just as long as you play his game you'll be perfectly fine." Angel said. "What do you mean HIS game?" Zane said curiously. "All right Valentino owns a porn studio. He's in charge of the place and he's friends with Vox and Velvet. All three of them are overlords." Angel said as he's trying to make it simple but detailed as possible. "What the fuck is an overlord?" Zane said confused. Angel had a feeling this is going to be a long talk. He explained to Zane what an overlord is. an Overlord is supposed to be a rank higher than hellborn's and has power and money to control a part of the city.

After Angel done explain to him. He had a phone call. That was Valentino. He answered it and Valentino ask him to come inside to the company him and tell the other two girls to join. Angel dust sigh and told two girls "That's our cue" and left the limo leaving Zane all by himself. He finally had time for himself. He looked back as his phone about to play the next music until he saw a cord that is hooked up to a stereo. It looks like it could fit his phone. He plugged it in and play a song just to test it out and it was working. He play a song and started singing.

During the song that he's singing he looked at his reflection and realize something's different with his eyes. His eyes show of a more of a rainbow colored to them. He didn't stop singing. He kept going and started to have a good feeling in him like he was actually having fun. Right at the end of the song he heard clapping hands. He looked out the window to see Valentino smirking with Angel shocked about how good his voice sounded. "Well well well not only that you have a good looking body, but a nice voice too." Val said as he was impressed. During the ride again, Valentino spoke to him again "You put on quite a show when we were in the restaurant and when I saw it I've been thinking of something. Jow about we make a deal? how about you perform tonight and I'll willing to pay you greatly.... if you signed a contract. Once you do, you belong to me. You'll have all the protection you want and being famous. Just like Angel Dust. My clients say a lot of positive things about him. He's my baby." At first Zane didn't like the sound of being owned by someone. But being famous sounds like a dream come true. Zane was about say something but notice something on Angel's neck. It look like a bruised mark. He looked at the other two girls and saw they have bruised marks on them also. That's when Zane knows that he cannot trust Valentino. Valentino is abusing his employees. "If you're planning on using me that's not going to happen. I'm not someone's plaything. So I'm going to say I'm denying your request." Valentino was not happy to hear that and Angel looked at Zane full of fear starting that Zane is probably going to die! Why you may ask? Because Valentino owns a gun full of holy bullets! But Valentino's expression was from anger to impress. He definitely never met a demon that knows that he cannot be easily tricked. "Stop this fucking limo, so I can get out." Zane said. "As you wish."Valentino said and demanding the driver to stop. Zane got out the limo and the vehicle was going. "That asshole is not going to control me like he's doing to his 'employees'. He plugged in his headphones to his phone to listen music.

2 hours later while walking down the road listening to his own music he spotted a club that's called "Val's 666 club". He had a feeling this might be Valentino's private club. He never thought he was going to do it but decided to let himself in to the club. He was surprised that the guard was pretty lazy on stopping people from going in. "Dumbass" he murdered himself. When he got in the club his first site is a lot of sexy demons in cages dancing or on stage performing and there is a bar there. Zane knew he really needed a drink, even though he doesn't like drinking alcohol. He just needs to get his mind clear a little bit.

5 minutes later

Zane was about to finish his first bottle until the lights dim and the announcer started to yell. "Ladies and gentledemons! Put your hands together for the hell's famous pornstar. Angel Dust!" Zane was literally surprised about this considering the fact that he last seen him 2 hours ago in the limo with Valentino. The curtains push away to reveal Angel half naked near the pole and started singing a song called "Addicted". During the song something inside Zane's head is telling him to enjoy the show and there's nothing to worry about. Until Angel fell down and messed up the performance. Everyone went to silence. Zane did not see who was at the front row seat to see this and he knew who it was Valentino! Valentino was not happy about this and yelled at Angel. "You stupid piece of shit! How can you easily messed up a simple performance!?!?" Angel does try to explain why he messed up but Val was not listening and was about to hit him. Zane knew he couldn't just stand by watching Angel get beat by Valentino in front of EVERYONE! "What's the point of hurting someone when you are not listening to them?"Valentino turnaround to see the very same demon that he let him ride in the limo with him and Angel. "What did you say?" Val said in a very dangerous but anger tone. "You heard me!"Zane said in defense. Once again Val was about to pull out his gun but realizes that he has an idea. "All right how about we make a deal no contracts just for Angel Dust." Zane knew he's not going to back down and ask Val "what deal is that?" "Perform on stage, three songs and if all of them are great! Angel will be unharmed. If they're not, well you already know the answer."
A very long pause between a stare down of Valentino and Zane. The demons give them distance just in case if there's a fight going down. "I'll do it my way. Not yours"

End of chapter 3
Zane trusted his gut and knew Valentino was not a good person. But now Valentino made it deal with him on performing on stage with three songs of Zane's choosing if they are good.
