The Colorist Demon (Part 1)

A Surprise Visitor

Zane was been in the hotel for 2 weeks now. He got to know some demons that is living in the hotel or working there. He already knew who Angel Dust is and Charlie. She told him that she was the princess of hell and he was surprised to hear that. Zane did not expect to actually have royalty in hell but he's in the pride ring after all. He got to know Husk that's pretty much an alcoholic and serve drinks. Nifty is pretty much a house cleaning lady. Vaggie is the manager of the hotel and has a little trust issue towards men. Zane didn't care just as long as he has shelter he'll be fine. But of course he needs to do work at the hotel to order to stay there. He went to the bar, taking a break from cleaning up a pacific area of the hotel. "Damn, I wasn't expecting to be that bad."Zane said as he's out of breath. "Yeah well shit happens when you don't clean things up." Husk said as he doesn't care. "Is there something that you care about in your life Husk?" "Alcohol" he answers. Zane rolled his eyes and ask Husk to get a drink for him. As he was about to take a sip, he heard a 30s radio sounding voice talking to him "hello my friend!" Zane jumped and turn around to see a tall figure that his color outfit was red and black, his smile was wide and his teeth color reveals to be yellow. "Who are you?" "Alastor the name! it's quite a pleasure to be meeting you Mr. Colorist Demon." "It's just Zane." Zane already had a feeling that this demon was dangerous and try to walk away but Alastor was not going to let him get away that easy. "Stop right there Zane! I saw your fiasco in a picture show and I couldn't ignore that! What a performance! Why I haven't seen something like that colorful in a very long time!" Once again Zane was trying to get away from this demon but prove failure. It looks like he's going to talk to him after all and was not happy about it. He knew he had a feeling that Alastor wants to make it deal with him like the other demons try to do to him so they can control him. "If you're saying you want to make it deal with me not going to happen." Alastor was surprised to hear that but did not lose his smile. "I'm guessing other demons tried to do it to you as well?" "Yeah they want to control me for their own benefits and you are no different." Alastor was speechless. He did not expect that Zane will not make a deal with him. "Now if you excuse me I need to go back to work." Zane finally finished his drink and walk off upstairs. "He's more challenging than I thought."

1 hour later

Charlie and Vaggie were in their office until they saw out the window that a limo driving in front of the entrance. "Is that your dad?" Vaggie said. "No. my dad hasn't called me in a while and there's no way he show up to the hotel unannounced." When Charlie looked out the window, she knows who's limo belongs to. "Oh no." The two girls rushed out of their office and yelled to everyone that one pacific demon is here at the hotel. Everyone was in the main lobby of the hotel but Zane. "I have no idea why she's here but hopefully this is just a friendly visit!" Charlie said trying to sound exciting but reality she is very nervous. "And who would that be?" Zane said at the top of the stairs just in time for the doors to open to reveal who it was.
Verosika Mayday!

Some of the demons have no idea why she's here at the hotel. Charlie was the first one that spoke up "Hi. Welcome to the Happy Ho-" "Save it. I'm not here for you or this hotel." Verosika said as she wants nothing to do with Charlie whatsoever. "What are you here for?" Charlie said confused. "Him" Verosika said as she pointed at Zane. "Me?" Zane said surprise. "Yes you. I heard that you do music down here so I thought maybe I should say hello to you and talk a little bit about a partnership." "Partnership? If you are thinking about making a deal with me like other demons down here that's not going to hap-." "I'm not going to take your soul or control you if that's what you're worried about." Zane was relieved to hear that but still is hesitant to know why she wants a partnership with him. "Then why you want me to be your partner?" "Because I'm hell's famous pop star and you are going to become soon to be hell's famous Rockstar. And I figure why not work together to make the best music the hell ever seen. And if you want to you can have me."she said full of lust when she said that Zane can have her. "Wait. your hell's famous pop star?" "How long you been in hell so far?" "About 2 weeks I believe." "And when do you perform last time?" "From what Angel have told me I think it was during my first day in hell." Verosika was surprised to hear that because she was not expecting a sinner be able to become super famous during their first day in hell. She wants to see what his performance in person. "How about you give me your performance at a private theater with me and my friends to see that you are welcome to join me." Zane have a feeling that if he does perform whatever power he had felt like it was gone. Then all of a sudden he felt something on his hand, look at it and saw colorful flames coming out of it! Zane felt something inside of him now and it wants to come out. That's when he figure out how to release his colorful form and yelled "Let my true colors out!". In a burst of colorful flames surrounding him and everyone stepped back so they won't end up burning themselves. When the flames disappeared, he was in his colorful form. And it's very same outfit that he wore at the performance at Valentino's club. His colorful eyes stared down at Verosika and said "Why I will perform for you miss and I do believe that our partnership will not work out the way you think." "WHAT!?!?" Everyone was shocked to hear this. "The reason why our partnership will not work it's because our reasons. My reason is to bring joy, fun, and having a great time! Your reason is to bring people into lust, not caring what their sexuality is, and you seem to enjoy that." Verosika was speechless that Zane does not want to be partners with her. "Turn that frown upside down and smile! It doesn't fit you you know. You're never fully dressed without one. I'll still perform for you you know. If these demons can come along too." Verosika look at the Hazbin crew and said "Fine. They could come along too." "Perfect! we should go tonight!" "TONIGHT?!? Spring break is coming up and I have to be in the living world to perform. Not only that! I have to practice for that!" "Then it looks like you don't want my performance after all. That's really sad. Oh well. Have a good day." "Fine but it better be worth it!" "Don't worry ma'am it will be 100% worth it you will be smiling through the event just like me and Alastor!" After 20 minutes of talking, Verosika left the hotel and Zane was happy. "That's weird that you decided to change into your colorful form when she's here." Angel said. "I only did it to please her nothing more." Everyone noticed that Zane personality has changed. He was more like a playful person now. Alastor did not expect Zane say "smile! you never fully dressed without one." After half an hour later, Zane returned back to his original form. Now he remembers what happened on stage at Valentino's club! He was in control of himself! He use too much power to make him forget the event. He let out what he truly is and that is being a performer! Zane has to think of what songs he needs to sing at a private theater so he can amaze her and his friends, so that will be their best night of their life! He just has one more thing to do and that is visiting the triple V's!

End of chapter 8
Zane remembers what powers he has now and is trying out of control it. But that's not his true powers. And it looks like he'll be visiting the triple V's! (this chapter is a little longer because I want to make up for what happened on last chapter. It was just short for my liking and didn't like it. So I tried to make this chapter longer than the last one. So forgive me on the short chapter and hopefully it won't happen again!)
