Chapter 19: Tenth Red String

=Rainbow Academy: Rainbow Hall=

/Jarek's POV/

"Hey, Chrisaline, mind helping me a bit here? The others are quite busy doing their own things" I called

"Uh, sure, I guess?" Chrisaline agreed

"So what are you doing?" Chrisaline asked

"Well... Ms. Kim and Mr. Kim wanted me to clean up the Rainbow Hall and add decorations to it for some reason they never said" I answered

"I see...but isn't it kind of odd for them to ask of that?" Chrisaline asked

"I mean, it is, but it's not like we could say no to their favor. They are the ones helping us in the academy anyways" I said

"I guess you're right" Chrisaline said as we arrived in front of the Rainbow Hall

I opened the door and search for the light as the hall was too dark for us to see

"Looks like we have a lot of cleaning to do" Chrisaline commented once the lights all turned on

The Rainbow Hall was large, it's like half a theater. It could probably accommodate twice the amount of gifted and specials in the academy right now

"I wonder why they made the Rainbow Hall this large" I spoke up as we walked to the stage front

"Let's start cleaning from here, then?" Chrisaline suggested

"Sure" I said, as I got the broom and started sweeping the floor while Chrisaline is dusting the walls and stage

"If only we asked for help from a spell caster, this could be easier to do, don't you think so?" Chrisaline spoke up

"I think so too, but they are all busy doing their own things or practicing their spells so we just have to be patient with cleaning this. I mean, we don't have to finish this today, it's not like an event will happen tomorrow suddenly, and Ms. Kim and Mr. Kim aren't like that" I reasoned

"Right, let's get back to it then" Chrisaline said as we get back to cleaning

Halfway through cleaning the hall, my left pinky finger was tugged slightly as I stopped sweeping

"What's wrong, Jarek?" Chrisaline asked

"It's nothing, don't worry" I assured

"If you say so" Chrisaline said as she continued sweeping the floor

"Takao-san must've saw his end of the red string already, and I'm sure as heck it will lead him here in a couple minutes" I thought, continuing to sweep

"Hello! Is someone in here?" A voice asked from the doors of the Rainbow Hall which I could only guess is Takao-san

"Who do you think that is?" Chrisaline asked me

"It's my other end, Takao Kazunari-san" I answered as I walked to the doors and opened it for him

"Hello, Takao-san" I greeted

"Oh, hello, other end" Takao-san greeted back

"How did you know I was your other end?" I asked

"Shin-chan told me about how his string is connected to a girl named Jkasmin which he found out just this morning so since my string is connected to yours, it just came to my mind" Takao-san explained

"I see..." I muttered

"You have one genius other end right there, Jarek!" Chrisaline shouted

"Shut up, Chrisa!" I shouted back as she just laughed
