The car raced through the streets of London, but its progress came to an abrupt halt at a crowded junction. Despite the honking horns and impatient glances from other drivers, Chan couldn't contain his agitation, tapping his feet incessantly and nervously biting his nails, his frustration palpable amidst the standstill traffic.

"Damn this traffic," Changbin exclaimed, unable to bear it any longer. With determination, he shoved Chan aside and leaped out of the car, prompting Felix to call out to him in concern. Fearlessly, Changbin stepped into the flow of oncoming traffic, directing them to halt as he urged Hyunjin to seize the opportunity to move forward.

Forced to leave Changbin behind, Felix leaned out of the window, his voice filled with admiration. "You're a hero!" he shouted. Changbin waved enthusiastically in response, momentarily losing focus as a car narrowly missed him, prompting a string of colorful language directed at the driver.

They arrive at The Savoy Hotel in just six minutes, thanks to Hyunjin's driving. Chan gets out of the car in a flashy manner, and everyone cheers for him. He quickly rushes to the main desk and asks, "Excuse me, where is the press conference?" The receptionist asks if he is an accredited member of the press, to which Chan hesitantly responds, "Yes...?" Feeling uncertain about his answer, he mentally slaps himself for lacking confidence.

The receptionist looks at Chan skeptically, not believing him. In a desperate attempt to prove himself, Chan flashes the only card he could find in his pocket, a Blockbuster video membership card.

The man in the hotel lobby rolled his eyes in annoyance and attempted to call for security. But just then, Felix appeared and pushed Seungmin's wheelchair forward, blocking the man's way. Seungmin bravely spoke up for Chan, saying, "He's with me." The man's expression changed upon hearing this and he asked, "And you are?"

Seungmin replied confidently, "I'm writing an article about how London hotels treat people in wheelchairs," and raised an eyebrow, daring the man to argue with him. This made the man visibly nervous and he quickly said, "Of course, sir. It's in the Lancaster Room. I'm afraid you're very late."

Felix then urged Chan to hurry and leave, while the others tried to catch up with him. Chan rushed through the hotel, frantically pulling at every door he could find, hoping to make it to the Lancaster Room on time. But most of the doors were locked or empty, making his search even more challenging.

Our main character has finally found the right room and enters. The room is packed with press, row after row of journalists, with cameras at the front and TV cameras at the back.

Y/n doesn't often give press conferences, so this one is quite grand. She sits at a table at the end of the room, next to Karen, while Jeremy, the PR boss, manages the questions on the other side. Chan watches through the motor and notices Y/n's professional face, but can also sense a hint of sadness from the preceding event.

A journalist asks, "How much longer will you be staying in the UK?"

Y/n looks at the journalist and gives a strained smile as she answers, "No time at all. I'm flying out tonight." She's feeling slightly melancholic, but still honest in her response.

Without Y/n's knowledge, Chan slowly blends in with the journalists and cameras, moving toward the middle to get a better view of her. Jeremy looks around to see if there are any more journalists left to ask Y/n any questions before they quickly leave the country, as per her request.

One journalist asks, "Is your decision to take a year off anything to do with the rumors about Jeff and his present leading lady?" Y/n responds with complete honesty, "Absolutely not." The journalist follows up by asking, "Then do you believe the rumors?"

Y/n sits up straight and leans towards the small mic stand holding the mic on the table as she speaks. "It's really not my business anymore. Though I will say, from my experience, rumors about Jeff...do tend to be true."

As Y/n sat in front of the group of journalists, she noticed that they were scribbling in their notepads, apparently content with her response.

As the next question came from someone standing right next to Chan, Y/n's focus remained fixed on the table before her. "Last time you were here, there were some graphic photographs of you and a young English guy... so what happened there?" Chan looked at Y/n, eagerly waiting for her response.

Y/n took a moment to gather her thoughts before answering. She remembered her last interaction with Chan and said, "He was just a friend... I think we're still friends." She gestured to Jeremy, indicating that she would only answer one more question before quickly leaving.

Despite the pressure from the media, Y/n remained calm and composed. Her response was clear and concise, leaving no room for doubt or speculation. She handled the situation like a pro, showcasing her professionalism, poise, and grace.

The inquiry about Chan stirred up emotions in Y/n, a wave of sadness threatening to overwhelm her, but she managed to suppress it, mindful of the numerous cameras trained on her face. Jeremy nodded in understanding and randomly selected someone from the crowd. "Yes, the gentleman in the blue shirt," he pointed out.

All eyes turned to Chan as he raised his hand, awaiting Y/n's response. "Yes, Miss Scott," he began, his voice carrying across the room, "are there any circumstances in which you two might be more than just friends?"

Y/n glanced up, recognizing the voice instantly. Their gaze lingered longer than necessary, drawing the attention of everyone present. In the rear of the room, Chan's friends had just arrived, catching sight of him posing the question.

They remained composed in the background, silently wishing for his desires to be fulfilled. Jeongin and Felix embraced each other, Jisung watched with wide-eyed curiosity, while Hyunjin and Seungmin sat together, their hands intertwined.

"I had hoped there might be... but no, I'm certain there aren't," Y/n responded softly.

"And what would you say..."

Jeremy intervened before Chan could ask another question, but Y/n raised a hand, signaling it was right. In fact, she was intrigued to hear why Chan was pursuing her after he had already rejected her confession. "No, let him ask... go ahead," she encouraged.

Chan hesitated momentarily before continuing, "Yes, I just wondered whether if it turned out that this... person..."

The hushed room was suddenly disrupted by the loud voice of a reporter from a distance who exclaimed, "His name is Bang. Bang Christopher Chan." The room fell silent again as the reporter continued, "Right, um thank you... I couldn't help but wonder if Mr. Bang was aware that he had been a idiot and if he were to fall to his knees and beg for your reconsideration, would you actually grant it?"
