You knew this was the last time you would've been able to see him. You didn't want to leave. And he didn't want you to leave, but you had to.

It was your time.

You've lived your life long enough.

Michael has been by your side through it all, the hair loss, chemotherapy, the pain, the suffering, the good and the bad news. He's been there since the beginning.

Hand in yours, he caressed your hand with his thumb, salty tears streaming down his red, puffy cheeks.

"I'm so sorry."

Your shake your head weakly, too tired to smile."Please don't apologize, baby. None of this is your fault."

He held onto your hand tighter and sobbed, this couldn't be true. It couldn't be. You two were supposed to be together forever.

"We knew this was going to happen eventually, baby, "You spoke, voice soft and weak.

You wanted to show him that you were okay on the outside, but you both knew you were hurting on the inside.

"Michael."

He couldn't face you no matter how much he wanted to see your face one more time, he just couldn't. The pain was too much to handle.

"Baby," you pleaded, just above a whisper, "Please."

Slowly, he lifted his head and stared at you. His face was swollen, eyes swollen and red. It hurt you, even more, seeing him like this.

You knew you were quickly coming to the finish line so you wanted to tell him one more thing.

"My last wish," you sharply inhale a deep breath and continue," Don't forget about me."

Despite his sobbing, you continue.

"Take care of the twins, the boys' and yourself."

You cough and close your eyes, "Mikey...I love you."
