Chapter Twenty-Eight

Akiexhia's P.o.V.

"Steven, bakit amoy babae ka?"

I looked at him with an arched eyebrow nang malanghap ng pang-amoy ang kung kanino mang pabango 'yon. One thing's for sure, amoy babae at hindi galing sa akin.

Kumunot lang ang noo niya sa akin at saka inamoy ang sarili. I saw how he froze nang maamoy niya ang sarili niya, he knows where he got it and I know he'll lie about it.

"Bakit amoy babae ka?" I asked again even I know he'll just lie.

"Akiexhia this is nothing, okay? Baka nakuha ko lang nang pumunta ako sa kompanya kanina" he explained.

Steven, why do you have to lie? What are you hiding from me?

"Sa kompanya? Bakit pabango na ba business niyo ngayon?" I said. I can only take a sip from the juice in front of me to stop myself from nagging at him.

It's really obvious he went somewhere.

"Akiexhia, marami kaming babaeng empleyado baka humalo lang talaga"

Hanga na ako sa pagpapalusot niya, sobra.

"Do you think I'm buying that?" I asked him while looking straight in his eyes. Panic crossed his eyes in that very moment.

"Akiexhia wala ka bang tiwala sa akin?"

"Don't question my trust on you Steven, I am just asking bakit amoy babae ka!"

"I told you galing akong kompanya!" he said, his voice a bit raised.

"Bakit nilingkis ka ba ng mga empleyado niyo kaya humalo yung amoy nila sa'yo?" I said returning the same intensity of his voice. My patience is nearing its end, bakit kasi hindi na lang niya sabihin ang totoo?

"What? Why would I do that?"

"Then whose perfume is that? Huwag mo nang subukang idahilang kay Britney 'yan!" 

Frustration registered on his face when I continued about the matter. He stood up from his seat and was about to leave when I talked.

"You'll walk out? Bakit guilty ka? Guilty of what?"

He immediately turned his face to me when I said that. Alam kong napipikon na siya but who the hell cares!

"Aren't you being too paranoid Akiexhia?" He asked. I couldn't believe him. I let out a sarcastic laugh before answering him.

"Ako pa ang paranoid ngayon? Sinong girlfriend ang hindi magtataka kung maamoy niya ang boyfriend niyang amoy babae?"

"Sinabi ko na nga kasing wala lang 'to!"

"I don't believe you! You've been lying to me the whole day! I know you didn't went to Krishna this morning, Ash told me he saw you sa village nila! What would you do there? Ang layo no'n sa village kung nasaan si Krishna"

"Ash told you?" He said then walked closer to me.

"Yes, and so?"

"Ako napipikon na ako sa kakalapit ng mokong na 'yon sa'yo!"

"Eh ano namang masama do'n?"

"Saan kayo pumunta? Nakita ko kayo Akiexhia, sumakay ka sa kotse niya" I was taken aback when he said that. Akala ko nakaalis na siya no'n.

"He drove me home, you obviously wasn't able to do that because of that damn business of yours" I said stressing on the word business. I am not the issue here bakit parang binabaliktad niya?

"He drove you home? Nagpapahatid ka sa iba?"

"Anong masama do'n? Ikaw nga bumalik na amoy babae! Isa pa, don't change the topic! Ang issue dito sinong pinuntahan mo!"
