Chapter Thirty

Kisses' P.o.V.

I looked beside me where Steven is sleeping peacefully. He slept here last night because I keep on having cramps and he can't stop worrying kahit na sinabi na ng doktor na okay lang naman kami ng baby. A smile escaped from my lips as I remember his worried face when he stepped inside my room, he really love our child. He's giving our child the same amount of love he gave to Krishna before and it's more than enough for me. Hindi na ako naghahangad na magstay siya sa akin, naiintindihan ko nang si Akiexhia talaga at responsibilidad lang niya sa amin ang dahilan kung bakit nandito siya ngayon.

"Kanina ka pa gising?" He asked with eyes still half open.

"Hindi naman" I answered with a small smile.

"Okay ka na ba?"

"Hindi ka ba papasok?" I said answering him with a question. Napailing na lang siya sa akin bago tumayo.

"Ipaghahanda muna kita ng breakfast then papasok na ako, sandali lang"

He has been taking good care of us since the moment he found out about his baby. No'ng una hindi ko talaga alam na buntis na pala ako not until nag-collapse ako habang binabantayan si Krishna. When I woke up si Steven na ang inabutan ko sa tabi ko, Angelo called him pala when he found out. Simula no'n pabalik-balik na siya sa ospital, kay Krishna, at kay Akiexhia.

I'm 14 weeks through pregnancy, mahaba-habang journey pa. Alam kong hindi pa rin alam ni Akiexhia ang tungkol sa akin and just a few weeks from now my bump will start to show and she'll eventually know, which is one thing I fear about. Malaki pa rin ang galit namin sa isa't-isa kaya hindi ko alam kung anong mangyayari if hindi niya agad malalaman sa lalong madaling panahon. I just wish that she won't take her hate towards me to my child, 'yon lang ang hiling ko at hahayaan ko na silang dalawa ni Steven.

"Ang lalim ng iniisip mo ah" bumaling ako kay Steven na nakabalik na pala nang hindi ko namamalayan.

"I'm just thinking about completely dropping out from school for the meantime" I said, half lie half truth. I can't go to school because I always feel sick and I can't risk my baby kaya mas okay sigurong mag-stay na lang ako dito sa bahay.

"Sigurado ka?" Tumango na lang ako sa kanya.

"Go na, I can manage to eat by myself already. Baka abutin ka ng traffic, malayo pa ibabyahe mo" I said while softly pushing him.

"Sigurado ka? Dito na lang muna kaya ako? Baka sumakit ulit 'yang tiyan mo"

"Okay na ako Steven, go na. Sige ganito na lang I will update you from time to time kung anong nangyayari, okay na 'yon?" I said. He just looked at me for a few more seconds before giving in.

He left after giving more reminders to me. I started eating breakfast that Steven prepared for me in silence when one of our housemaids knocked on my door.

"Yes ate?" I said.

"Ma'am may bisita po kayo" kumunot naman ang noo ko do'n. Bisita? Who will visit me? If it's Krishna sana tumuloy na 'yon dito sa kwarto.

I took one last spoonful of my food before going to see my visitor. Inalalayan ako pababa ni Ate hanggang sa makababa ako sa hagdan and when I saw who's waiting for me in the living room I froze on my spot.

"Chelsea"

"Yes, it's me Kisses" she said then stood up to went closer to me.

"Why are you here? Saka paano ka nakapasok dito sa village?" I asked her.

"Simple lang, nakisabay ako kay Dad papasok. He's looking for a house around the area kaya I thought I'll pay you a visit" she said. Did Akiexhia sent her here?

"And no, Akiexhia didn't sent me here"

"Ano bang kailangan mo?"

"Ikaw, anong kailangan mo? Akiexhia's living a peaceful life already bakit nakikigulo ka pa rin?" She said to me with those accusing eyes.

"Akiexhia suffered enough Kisses, pwede bang tama na?"

"Ano bang sinasabi mo? I can't understand you Chelsea"

"I know Steven's going here again and again. Anong meron sa inyong dalawa?" I was taken aback by her question, I didn't expected that. How did she know Steven's here for the last days.

"Ma'am ang Daddy niyo po tumawag, tinatanong po kung kailan ang next check-up niyo sa Ob-gyn niyo" I quickly turned my head to our housemaid when she suddenly appeared and said that.

I heard Chelsea laughing from my back that made me face her again.

"I see, buntis ka ulit?"

"Chelsea, look we didn't mean na itago 'to, lalo na kay Akiexhia. Humahanap lang kami ng tyempo, please let us tell this to her" I said almost begging her.

"Huwag mong sabihing si Steven na naman ang tatay?" She asked and I just nodded.

"Baka naman palabas mo na naman 'to Kisses" she said then let out a sarcastic laugh.

"Chelsea trust me, this time it's real. Steven is the father of my child" I said that made her stop laughing.

"I- I can't believe you. Gaano kalaking damage ba ang gusto mong gawin kay Akiexhia? Hindi ka pa ba tapos?" She said to me but I just looked away.

"Wala naman akong balak manggulo"

"I don't trust you, and I don't wanna believe you, again. Makakarating kay Akiexhia 'to" Chelsea said that made me panicked.

"No, Chelsea please, let us do that. Please I am begging you Chelsea, don't tell her"

"Magsisinungaling ako sa bestfriend ko? Is that what you're trying to say?"

"Hindi Chelsea, just please hayaan mong kami na ang magsabi sa kanya"

"Kailan? Kapag naglalakad na 'yang anak niyo? O kapag buntis ka na ulit?"

I looked at how stern she is right now. She is really willing to go this far for Akiexhia, is this what I get from turning my back on them?

"Chelsea, please"

"Hindi mo ba naiintindihan 'yung sitwasyon Kisses? Niloloko niyo na si Akiexhia! Ginagago niyo 'yung tao! Hanggang kailan niyo balak pagmukhaing tanga ang kaibigan ko?"

My tear started to fell one by one as I hear her voice getting louder and fiercer. Her eyes are blazing with anger as she look at me. Para bang kahit anong gawin ko she will still tell the truth to Akiexhia.

"Kung hindi niyo sasabihin kay Akiexhia 'yan bago lumubog ang araw asahan mo nang sa akin mismo niya maririnig ang panloloko niyong dalawa" she said then left me.

Para akong nanghina pagkatapos no'n. Napaupo na lang ako sa sahig habang tumutulo ang mga luha ko.

"I really don't intend to break them apart"

Steven's P.o.V.

"Steven Scott, speaking. May I know who is this?"

"Sir, this is from the test center. Your results will be ready tomorrow"

"Okay, thank you"

At last, malalaman na namin kung ano bang totoo. Kung may nagkamali lang ba sa mga naunang test na ginawa namin o wala sa aming dalawa ni Angelo ang tatay ni Krishna.

If it's the latter, mas malaking problema 'yon. Hindi ko na alam kung paano ipapaliwanag kay Krishna ang lahat. Hindi ko din alam kung saang lupalop hahanapin ang tatay niya kapag nagkataon.

Siguro unahin ko muna si Krishna. The moment we found out the truth sasabihin ko na rin kay Akiexhia ang tungkol kay Kisses. I can't solve two matters at the same time, mas makakatulong siguro kung isa-isa muna para mas makapag-isip ako. I just wish the result will give us peace rather than another problem to solve.
