Chapter Twenty-Two

Akiexhia's P.o.V

"Baba na, susunod na lang ako"  I said to him pagkatigil ko sa harap ng entrance ng ospital.

"Oka-"

"Go na, Steven di ako pwedeng matagalan dito, magpa-park lang ako. Sige na" I said and smiled at him. He gave me a kiss on my forehead before leaving his car.

I quickly look for a parking space at pumasok na sa ospital. I fished my phone out ng maramdaman kong nag-vibrate 'yon.

Room 219, third floor, she's okay na pinagpapahinga na lang, bumaba na din lagnat. I love you.

I smiled after reading his text at dumaretso na sa elevator. 

It will be okay, right? Hindi naman magko-cause 'to ng kahit ano na hindi makakabuti diba? I breathed in deeply when I heard the elevator sound.

I step out of it and proceeded to that room.

I breathed in again and was about to knock ng bumukas na agad ang pinto. Kisses welcomed me with one of her eyebrows raised. Kalma, may bata Akiexhia.

"Anong ginagawa mo dito?" bulong niya habang nakatitig sa akin.

"Bumibisita? I'm not here for you, so kindly get out of my way, I'm not here to start a petty fight with you" sabi ko at hinawi siya ng bahagya para makapasok ako sa loob. Krishna's still asleep with Steven by her side.

They look so, serene. Too peaceful that you can't tell na hindi sila tunay na mag-ama. Steven looks at her lovingly while gently stroking her hair, before he turned his eyes to me and smiled. 

"Sit down here" tawag niya sa akin sabay turo sa upuan sa tabi niya.

"You'll really let her sit there? Diba dapat ako diyan?" Kisses said the moment pagkaupong-pagkaupo ko. Napabuntong hininga na lang ako sa sinabi niya. I freaking need to calm down, nasa ospital ako at tulog si Krishna na may sakit.

Kalma, Akiexhia.

"May isa pang upuan Kisses pwede ka naman d'on umupo, girlfriend ko si Akiexhia, malamang itatabi ko sa akin, anong gusto mo? Paupuin ko sa sahig?" sabi ni Steven. Hindi ko alam kung matatawa ba ako sa sinabi niya o ano. Sige Kisses, humor my boyfriend.

"Whatever" sabi niya at hinigit yung isang upuan palapit sa kama ni Krishna.

"Pagdating mo tulog na si Krishna?" I asked him.

"Can you not call my daughter on her name?" sabi ni Kisses kaya napatawa na talaga ako. 

"And what do you want me to call her? By your name? Gaya mo pa sa'yo anak mo" sagot ko sa kanya but she just rolled her eyes on me. She's really this petty? Anong itatawag ko kay Krishna kung ayaw niyang ipatawag sa pangalan? Bebe gurl?

I felt Steven patting my shoulder kaya napatingin ako sa kanya, he just gave me a warm smile that calmed my insides.

We all turned our heads kay Krishna when we heard her groaned slightly.

"You okay Krishna?" tanong ni Kisses. Okay, at this point, erase her image of being petty. 

"Mom, my head hurts" sabi niya as tears rushed down her cheeks.

"Shhh, Daddy's here oh, he'll take care of you" Kisses said kaya napabaling kay Steven si Krishna then, to me.

Krishna immediately looked at me with her confused eyes as if I am some kind of alien na hindi niya inaasahang makikita. I just smiled at her but she just knotted her forehead.

"Uhm, Krishna she's Tita Akiexhia, the girl that I was talking about before" Steven said to Krishna as he held her shoulders and looking at her eyes. Nakwento na ako ni Steven sa kanya? I hope it didn't cause her to be more confused.
