Mayank's PoV

I sat there, chewing on my nails wondering if she'd show up. I decided to close my eyes and reminisce the moment. Her soft lips and how sweet the kiss was. Unknowingly, a blush had crept up onto my cheeks. I ran a hand through my hair and smiled.
I shoved my hands into my pocket, staring intently at the elevator. There were only 2 minutes left until the clock struck 1 PM. I let out a sigh of disappointment, then the elevator dinged. I snapped to attention and looked at the exiting person.
Ugh!
It was just Sanju and Charu didi. They noticed the deflated look on my face and suppressed a smile. I heard the tapping of footsteps and Mahi appeared from inside the elevator. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.
"Hey," I smiled uncontrollably she glanced at me and shifted on her feet.
"Mahi," I smiled,
"Mayank," She kept the same tone.
"Relax, I'm taking you to my favorite restaurant in Mumbai," I winked, and held her hand, leading her to our cab. The two of us were turning red and holding eye contact for a bit too long.
