I feel like windows rolled down, new city, streets and cabs
I feel like anything can happen, laughing,You take me right back, when we were kidsNever thought I'd feel like this

Later that evening, Steve and Sophia are in their room. Steve is seated on the edge of the bed while Sophia is pacing back and forth. "Steven, why haven't you been honest with me? You can't honestly tell me that the lecture you gave me just a few months ago about dropping bombs isn't hypocritical?"
"Love, I'm sorry. After DC, I just wanted to spare you the pain I was in. I didn't know if he was real or alive and I figured once we were engaged, I could explain. And then Peter happened, and we never really slowed down love."
"Don't you dare blame Peter for your lying Steve!"
"I'm not sweetheart. I just wanted you to know where my head was at. I'm adjusting to being a father, Sophia. I love Peter just as much as you do."
Sophia takes a breath. "I know love, I know. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to imply."
"I know love. Are you still angry?"
"About bringing me a man for me to treat, who attacked me, who I must now baby with two other men. Hell, yeah, I am."
"Language, my Sophia," Steve said softly, a small mischievous smile on his lips.
"Dammit." Sophia says with a laugh. She wraps her arms around his neck. "What am I going to do with you?"
"Love me like you do. Forgive me, I hope soon." He smiles up at her. "It's been a long day sweetheart. I still haven't really processed that he is here. Alive." He presses his forehead into Sophia's middle. "I can't believe it Sophia. I just can't believe he is here with me."
Sophia strokes Steve's hair. "I can't either my love. How? I mean how did he survive?"
"Well, when I rescued him the first time, Zola had done experiments to his entire unit. I guess he got something like my serum in him and it helped him survive the fall from the train. From what I have found, they cryo-freeze him until he was needed. And wiped his mind and removed his memories. Which is why I have been searching. Something came back after our fight in DC. I knew he remembered me. So, I kept looking."
"That must have been hard love. But why not tell me? I would have helped."
"I just didn't want to burden you. You were training, learning about your powers, getting over being kidnapped. I mean you are still not allowed by yourself. I didn't want to add to it."
Sophia sighed. "Ok. Let's just get some sleep." She moves to go to the bathroom.
"Really Sophia? You are going to let this go."
"Yes, I am trying to let this go. Steven, you have had so much go on. I mean training the new recruits, traveling back and forth from the compound, I know that you are stressed. Bucky is going to need us and I don't want to stress you more. So yes, I am letting this go after tonight." She moves to remove her dress. Steve helps undue her zipper. She slides the dress off.
Steve's breath hitches. "Doll are you wearing garters?" His eyes darken, taken in the sight of his fiancé.
"Yes, I missed you, and was excited to see you tonight. But I think you don't deserve them after everything." Sophia starts to back away, a sly smile on her face.
Steve growls and grabs her and throws her on the bed. "Don't. Be. A. Tease." He says in between kisses on her neck.
"Yes, Captain," she sighs and he moves down.
