Chapter Forty Eight

You were just roaming the halls since its not dark yet its just a late afternoon you were pretty bored at this point you planned to go to the lobby since that was the most active place in the castle

Before you went down the stairs you hide behind a pillar and examined the place before you go down the stairs you saw some other maidens that were done with the chores you saw the butler who you had an interest on?

You smiled at the maidens as you go down the stairs and shrugged it off you just sat at the sofa that was in the lobby and just relaxed you were thinking of what you can do and you saw Elena entered the lobby

Your mood changed and you were already irritated you let out a sigh and you panicked for no reason "Alcina can be with her right?! Or what?!" You became more alert and tense but you calmed yourself down

You shifted your body facing the main door you were now sitting your feet up and facing backwards from Elena making your existence unnoticeable you sighed and just curled your body

You were imagining your countess was hugging you and cuddling you but suddenly you saw Elena by your side you were startled and shocked "y/n?"
Elena called your name "ah, y-yes m-miss you scared me a bit" you breath out and put your hand on your left elbow

Your irritated when you always encounter Elena "what?" You asked her "w-well do you and Alcina have an affair"  you were pissed when you heard your countess's name from Elena's mouth

You were startled about her question you wanted to tell the truth? But no definitely not "ah well why with that question ms Elena?" Elena sighed "well I saw Alcina holding your waist earlier"

"Well it's just to please her you know I can't stop that coming from m'lady right" Elena nodded "of course" she then ran to your countess your heart sank when you didn't know your countess was in the lobby as well

Well this didn't stop you since you were bored as hell you didn't said a word to your countess and went to the piano Delia then cheered you out of no where "yess y/n!!" She then smirked at you your countess was watching you with her glowing eyes as she stroked Elena's hair

You looked at Delia "tsk" you pointed to Delia "ehe" Delia then smiled at you; you smiled and your heart was already beating fast since you knew Elena and your countess was in the lobby as well you took a glance of the lobby before starting to play you saw Elena and your countess sitting on a couch as well they were watching you and your heart was about to explode

You then sighed and opened the cover of the piano your eyes always shines when you see the white keys and the black shiny keys as well Delia then whistled and you just smiled while you were preparing for the piano

You just smiled softly and played your favorite music from a fairy-tail it was "a whole new world" you started the intro the piano was echoing through the whole castle while your stepping to the pedals

You can't help but to glare at Delia and you let out a chuckle the other maidens were humming silently while you play since they knew the song; your countess was watching you play you can feel her eyes burning your skin making your heart skip a beat

You were humming through the song your halfway there but you were startled when you heard someone "sing it now please were begging" it was Delia the other maidens then looked at you and your countess looked at Delia

You paused "as you wish" you then smiled and started over

"I can show you the world" you try to sing as soft as possible not wanting to break the melody
The maidens were swaying there heads already

"Shining shimmering splendid tell me princess no-" you heard someone singing as well you looked and it was the butler your eyes sparkled and nodded to signal him to come to you and have a duet

The maidens were already cheering you guys up while the boy is walking towards you the boy stood next to you as you play some keys you saw your countess was already looking at you but you just continued

The line was for a male so you let him sing and you play the keys his deep sooting voice were elegant fitting into the piano "now when did you last let your heart desire"you smiled and continued

The maidens were watching you two have a duet and your countess was just watching you two with a cold gaze "I can open your eyes... Take you wonder by wonder over side ways and under on a magic carpet ride"

You smiled while playing the piano and you continued "a whole new world..  A new fantastic point of view no one to tell us no or where to go or say were only dreaming"

The maidens then cheered you guys up while they were sitting by their sides one maiden cheered "its y/n's solo!" Delia then squealed in excitement

You were blushing already and you just smiled before you sing the solo "A whole new world... A Dazzling place I never knew But when I'm way up here its crystal clear but now I'am in a whole new world with you"

Now I-am in a whole new world with you....

Your countess was watching you two with jealousy in her body building up but she sighed and just listened to your elegant yet powerful voice echoed through the castle

The maidens were speechless not talking to not ruin the moment "unbelievable sights.. indescribable feeling soaring tumbling free wheeling through an endless diamond sky A whole new world..." you smiled at the boy while you sing the lines

The maidens were cheering for you two you were too focused to notice it not wanting to have a note wrong
The boy was also surprised by your skills as you play the piano

"Don't you dare close your eyes"

"A hundred thousand things to see I'm like a shooting star I've come so far I can't go back to where I used to be" your countess was stunned about the lyrics and not knowing it was a popular fairytale song

You two duetted the song it turned out amazing you ended the duet with the last note and you thanked the boy as the boy walked to his place maidens then mocked him that he is head over heels with you

You heard Courtney mocked the boy "is the song that you like or the singer sung it?" You were flustered about Courtney's question

The maidens then looked at you; you were blushing in embarrassment and the other maidens then mocked you "yess y/n puppy love?" you were already biting your lip and you were frozen the maidens were already giggling and you pouted in anger

And you said stuttering and waving your arms in a refusing way "n-no! I- just enjoyed the duet" you then looked at the boy and thanked him; the maidens were already smirking at you; your countess watched everyone mocking you and the boy leaving her angry inside you just smiled at the maidens and walked out and roamed the halls as you were playing the scenes earlier in your mind
