Chapter Sixty

You stood before you went down the stairs you saw the group of maidens were already worried and praying for you  "w-what happened i-if-" suddenly you almost trip and your flats echoed through the castle "owww.." you yelped while fixing your shoes

The group of maidens then looked at the stairs and saw you alive "y/n! Oh my lord!" One maiden broke the silence you instantly shifted your head to the maidens and saw them smiling and surprised

"She's alive!!!" One maiden then shouted while the group of maidens were running towards the stairs their shoes echoed through the castle but you just smiled and went down the stairs "s-so..." Courtney looked at you you tilted your head and clenched your toes in excitement; it was silent for a moment and you folded your lips getting ready "ha! O my lord yess!" Your brain was already excited but you fight it

The silence broke and you instantly shifted your head to the group of maidens "Did the countess??.... You know..." Delia then hesitated to say something you chuckled and smiled "what! What! What!" The maidens eagerly waiting for an answer

You jumped "the countess agreed!!!" You laughed happily while the other maidens were dancing "yes! Yes! Yes!" Some of the maidens then cheered some were already jumping and shaking the other maidens in excitement you and Courtney were already dancing happily but Delia wasn't you looked at her concerned "i-is something wrong?" The other maidens then paused and looked at you two

"How did you do it then.." Delia asked you sternly the group of maidens suddenly became silent and you stopped smiling "uh well I just requested something.. That's all" you looked down as the scenes in your mind playing again; a maiden then cut you off "Elena was there huh?" You nodded and pouted "y-yeah"

The maidens then tilted their heads and hugged you "Don't worry the countess still loves you...." You froze "what the fuck?" Your brain asked "how did you say so?." You asked while you broke the hug One the maiden suddenly froze and a maiden then chuckled and whispered "she's just mother miranda's gift" the maiden then posed peace and smiled at you

Your mind exploded "it doesn't look like it though." You rolled your eyes the other maidens were startled about what the maiden spilled such an information "how did you knew then?" Delia then crossed her arms and asked the maiden "you know chit chat with the duke." You just stood there not knowing anything while thoughts were already exploding "the fuck? I mean... why does she always follow mother miranda? And..."

Your thoughts were cut off as Delia and Courtney hugged you the other maidens were staring at you and tried to comfort you they broke the hug and Courtney then spoke "Y/n... Your such an innocent person Well The countess is.. somewhat complicated she haven't felt love before she has been alone for centuries already but.."

"Yeahhh.." one maiden then nodded "I hope you should understand its hard.. but we don't want you to leave!" Delia then grabbed your arms and pouted you sighed "how complicated... I... is she doing this for Miranda's sake?" You tilted your head while the other maidens were fidgeting their fingers

"Well... we can't answer that but if that's what you feel then..." you cut them off "alright... ok ok" you sighed the other maidens sense that you were sad and pissed "n-no come on.. Were sure the countess still loves you right...?" You sighed and your eyes were watering already not knowing what to do "how complicated this could be.. I mean why does she prioritize What Mother miranda give her... is she a coward?.." you snapped As you thought of your countess being a coward

"Y/n! How rude of you!" Your face frowned "y/n...?" The maidens shook your body "ah.. ah?!" You stroked your hair as you look at them "now! Come on what are you guys waiting?! An invitation!" Your shoulders jumped and the other countess burst out laughing
