Beth wakes up in one of her brother's luxurious guest rooms. There is something she likes about Daehyun's house that's different from her parent's mansion. Homeliness. Daehyun's house felt more cozy and welcoming than the family home especially now that their dad was in prison.

The thought of her dad spending another day in that dreadful place has Beth hurrying out of the room and into the living room, where Daehyun's having breakfast by himself. He didn't even try to wake her up to see if she wanted anything.

Beth grabs a piece of bacon from her brother's plate and runs her tongue over it before he can protest. He sighs in defeat. “You take everything from me,” he mutters shoving a spoonful of scrambled eggs into his mouth. Beth chuckles.

“You're lucky I'm not interested in taking over the company,” she says with a mischievous glint in her eyes. Daehyun snickers at her statement and how true it is. He is very lucky.

“So did you tell your friend about our meeting?” Daehyun questions and Beth nods. “Yes, as a matter of fact, we were supposed to be having breakfast together, with her. But it looks like I'll be having your share,” she says and he rolls his eyes.

“Alright then. I'll place these in the sink and we can get going,” Daehyun says clearing the table. He places the dishes in the sink and Beth grabs her forgetten purse from the couch. Daehyun grabs his suitcase that he had placed on one of the chairs.

Beth exits the house with Daehyun behind her, locking the door carefully. Just then a slick red car moves off the neighbors driveway and Beth's eyes scrunch up in confusion. “That's so odd,” she whispers. Daehyun moves closer to Beth and follows her line of sight and sees Sarah's car round the corner at the end of the street.

“What's off? That I have a neighbor or that my neighbor has a car?” Daehyun questions and Beth shakes her head dismissively.

“No idiot. Of course you'd have a neighbor and they'd have a car, look around this neighborhood, everyone has a Porsche,” she says, blinking several times to make her brother feel stupid. Daehyun ignores her and descends the potch stairs with Beth in tow.

“I just thought I recognized that car,” she mutters and Daehyun chuckles at her stupidity.

“Of course you would idiot. There are cars like that one all over the city. Manufacturers don't just make one car,” he says dismissively and Beth shrugs. There's no way Sarah would pick an apartment here out of all places.

Sarah arrives three minutes earlier at their favorite coffee shop Scotch Grill. Daehyun and Beth were just a few meters from spotting her but she was a little ahead. Sarah's stomach feels very empty but she holds her horses, it'd be rude for her to order breakfast while she's supposed to have it with Beth and her brother whom she'd never met or heard about before until recently when Linear Impact came back in the picture.

Sarah quietly skims through the menu while she awaits her guests. Scotch and Grill  is a coffee shop in the entrance and a pub restaurant once you enter through the door next to the counter. There's a pretty eighteen year old girl, Rita who serves in the coffee shop. She's friendly and is one of Beth's very close friends, and is now warming up quite well to her cousin Arabelle.

Rita is from the United Kingdom and a brilliant culinary chef in the making. Scotch and Grill recently just earned its first Michelin star because of her grandfather, the owner of the establishment, Paul.  Paul is a sixty something English man who likes to joke and give out free food to his customers every now and then. Arabelle usually went inside the restaurant just to say hello.

Rita always has her long, brunette hair in a messy bun on top of her head. Her long slender legs are always hidden beneath all sorts of pricey sweatpants. Rita reminds Sarah of her cousin. So did Beth. The three of them are just cuties.
