Three months later
Sarah and Arabelle had just graduated. And Arabelle kept nagging Andrew about how she couldn't wrap her head around the criminal justice system. The big boys case was a dark cloud always looming over their heads.
It kept getting pushed back. They'd keep getting a further court date. There was just too many excuses. Of course Trevor and Smith's attorneys were just looking for excuses to get more time to pull some strings.
However the case was under a lot of scrutiny for it to be sweeped under the rug. People were demanding justice. A lot of women had suffered at the hands of those vile men. And something had to be done. Arabelle made it her first task as an official element in the criminal justice system to make sure that criminals get what they ask for.
Andrew couldn't less. In fact, he hoped the case to be pushed back another three years, just so they could serve more time before the official sentence. He didn't even like hearing about them anymore. He was done with that chapter of his life.
He still couldn't wrap his head around how he still remained famous after everything. He quit being a boxer to focus on his girlfriend who he has been living with for the past three months. He was now self employed. He was a self defense teacher for young kids of all ages and it brought him peace and satisfaction.
And seeing just how the entire experience had made his shorty strong, he was happy he went through it with her. He remembered how they had entered each other's lives in the beginning, she had called him and not the other way around. He's the one that always called the ladies first. He knew that really wasn't the case since it was a work related call, but same thing. Nobody needed to know. She called him and that was that!
Lance and Troy were excited to hear about their new boy being in such a cool field. Wayne was an FBI agent, and that made him the closest thing to Kevin Hart and The Rock movies that they could get. They'd all just become one super happy family and Wayne couldn't have had it any other way.
Wayne, after so many years of chasing after vapor, had finally done it. He captured the biggest ring leader and the biggest rival to his career, Trevor. Working undercover and especially under Trevor was one of the worst experiences of his life. He found Trevor to be disgusting since he already knew the kind of person Trevor was. All he really wanted to do was bring him down. And it all seemed impossible until a new kid came to the company that very next month.
That was one of the things that made his operation successful. The assistance of Andrew and Arabelle, his favorite couple. Besides he and his girlfriend Rebecca of course.
One thing's for sure, going after bad guys would always be his Force of Habit.
_______
Arabelle was out having lunch with Sarah and her new Asian friend Beth, who she had met at their graduation ceremony.
Beth was a twenty two year old criminology graduate. She was funny, witty and had that cool kid energy to her. She was always laughing or giggling.
Her hair was cut into a short and curly bob cut which started out black from the roots, then faded down into a blonde color. She had a cute face and a lovely smile. She was the same height as Arabelle. They were just too similar and that's why they were so close. Two peas in a pod.
Beth was the last born child of a rich and powerful man. He loved her dearly. Everyone in her family loved her, especially her two older brothers. She stayed in Manhattan with just her dad and mom because her two brothers moved to South Korea after a family disagreement.
Just as they debated on what the best ice cream flavor was, Arabelle's phone pinged. It was a group text.
She widened her eyes in shock but she did not read it aloud, not wanting to ruin their lunch. However Sarah noticed her reaction and raised her brow at her.
