"I wonder why Jason never showed up" Mia says as we sit and eat lunch, Who ever thought that students should eat lunch at 10 in the morning should fall through a deep hole, "Who knows, who cares" I reply Mia stares at me "His posse cares" she says looking over my shoulder at where all of the cheerleaders and other sports players sit "Of course they do" I state "Eat your lunch" She scolds looking at the mush that is supposed to be our lunch "you and I both know that I'm not going to eat this shit" I say with a look of disgust "Then finish your brownies" she says "Sounds good" I reply back taking out the container. As I finish the brownies, Mia starts texting someone, She's lucky to have a phone sinse she actually has a real family,But I don't mind sinse the Thompsons treat me like one of there own, They even tried to adopt me but sadly they weren't able to and the whole phone thing? pfft! I didn't have any friends anyway except Mia so I couldn't care less. The bell rings signaling the end of lunch "See you later kitty" Mia say before walking off still texting "It's Katy" I frown closing the container and walking in the oppossite direction. As the day continues on the weather gets gloomier and by the time the final bell rings and I've grabbed all of my stuff from my locker and head out side where the wind has picked up and the sky's are grey with the ugly dull clouds that's as still as a cold statue , I love days like this, It reminds me me of the days my mom would sing me songs, oh how she had a beautiful voice!. I zip ip my thin hoodie and start walking to the bus stop. As I'm walking I hear a car beside me and when I look over I see a white mustang but it's not the car that pulls my attention "Yo Princess! Need a ride?" Says the devil himself, I mean Jason, I then start panicking, I hate public transportation like I hate Bees in the summer but I can't let anyone know where I live, they'll think of me like the mud on the bottom of the most expesive shoe "No Thanks" I reply "Oh come on, You want to be all wet?" he says as it starts pouring with heavy rain "I said NO Thanks!" I say and run and jump on the bus that had just showed up, looks like the universe Is starting to finally like me.
