"C'mon Dustin! Ye can run faster than that!" Jake laughed running away. "Quit showing off Jake!" Dustin panted slowing his pace down to a walk. The two boys were having a race. Jake saw that Dustin slowed and slowed himself to the same pace. "Ya got a bit faster that time." Jake's accent got a bit thicker, almost like a slight British accent. "Thanks Sir British Jake." Dustin bowed sarcastically. "Aye! Don't call me that! I'm Sir Jake! Not Sir British Jake!" Jake complained. Ever since Jake moved in with Dustin they've been so close it was almost impossible to separate them. Close friends they were. "Let's go home; Liz might be worried sick if we come home late." Dustin said. Now Jake was fifteen and Dustin was twelve. Heading back to their house chatting about the usual stuff.

Dustin opened the door to see Derrick and Liz whisper fighting, which they hardly ever did. Once the boys walked in the fighting stopped immediately and strained smiled went on their faces. "Mom, what's wrong? Ya seem like a ghost was here." Jake said curiously. After a while instead of calling Liz well Liz they started to call her mom a bit more often."Uh... Boys, we need to talk." Derrick said awkwardly. Liz gave him a glare but it melted away after a few minutes. Sitting on the couches Liz pushed Derrick to start. "Uh we heard that your parents got out this afternoon. They might want to come take you back, revenge maybe. Once they got out they ran off now they're off the radar and no one knows where they could be." Derrick said.

"That's why we think it would be good if we moved somewhere safer..." Liz said expecting to complain or panic. But their reactions relived Derrick and Liz. For Dustin and Jake just shrugged and said it was ok. "It's ok. As long as I got all ya I'll be fine." Dustin said. "Aye it's ok I agree with Dustin." Jake said. "Thank goodness, alright off to bed. You two got school tomorrow." Liz shooed them away to their beds. Jake and Dustin did what they were told. Getting in bed they laid there awake for a while. "I don't want to go back to school." Jake mumbled. "Why not? I think school is a bit fun." Dustin added. "They keep on calling me "pirate boy" by the way I speak." Jake sighed. "No offense it does make you sound a bit like a pirate but I wouldn't care if they called me pirate boy. It's unique and a name that fits you. Just try to ignore them." Dustin said. "Heh I guess year right. Well, good night Dustin." Jake whispered. "Night Jake," Dustin whispered. After that they both fell into a peaceful sleep.
