Y/N smiled and leaned back, feeling the cool breeze brush against his skin.

After feeding the last of the fish food he has to the fish, Ranboo leaned back on the bench as well.

They sat there in comfortable silence, the only noise they could hear was the breeze passing through the leaves of the tree.

"Hey, Y/N?" Ranboo called after a few minutes.

"Yeah?" Y/N sat back up and turned to Ranboo. "What's up?"

"I'm sorry," Ranboo said, lowering his voice.

Y/N raised an eyebrow, not understanding what the sorry was for.

"For being rude." Ranboo continued. For a moment, Ranboo's eyes glowed for Y/N. "I left you that night by yourself to clean. That is not something a prince should do."

Y/N noticed the glow but didn't pay attention to it. He still thinks it was the light source, which in this case is the sun's reflection.

"Hey, it's okay," Y/N replied, placing a hand on his shoulder. "I'm the one who kept questioning you. I shouldn't let people have privacy, let alone a prince's privacy."

Ranboo chuckled. "What I did is still rude and I need to say sorry for it."

"I forgive you. You were upset." Y/N said. "I'm sorry too."

"For what?" Ranboo asked.

"For being too nosey," Y/N replied.

"It's fine." Ranboo chuckled. "I forgive you."

"Oh!" Y/N exclaimed, standing up from the bench and moving in front of Ranboo. "What about we make a pact?"

"What pact?" He asked.

"I won't be nosey and you won't leave me alone to clean." Y/N laughed. It made Ranboo laugh as well.

"Alright," Ranboo replied.

Y/N sat back down on the bench next to Ranboo.

"Are you ready for the ball by the way?" Ranboo said after Y/N sat down next to him. He was looking into the distance, smiling.

"Oh, yeah." Y/N smiled. "Niki helped me find an outfit to wear."

"That's really nice of Niki." Ranboo continued. "I bet it fits you perfectly."

Y/N felt their face heat up a little bit. It made them look away to hide their reddening face.

"Uh, Ranboo?" Y/N called, a now much more nervous look on his face.

"Hmm?" Ranboo turned to them with a raised eyebrow.

"Your outfit looks good," Y/N said, smiling.

They tried to keep eye contact with Ranboo but they kept looking in different directions.

"It suits your princely figure," Y/N added.
