Graveyard under the sea

I've been drowning
in this tyrant sea—alone
and a little bit
more helpless each
day.

I've been trying
to swim back to the
surface; relentless and
unyielding against
the crashing waves
that tries to
bring me even deeper
into this enslaving
desolation.

Here, underneath the sea,
I still tried to patch-up
the crevasses of my
shattered soul—
praying for an
absent goddess
to make the ocean a
little less salty for
the sake of
my open wounds.

There, above the water
the sun was shining and
here—on this arctic floor
i dug my grave—
here, in the depths of
its lonely waters
I lay down and
rest.
