Remnants

I think when you lose someone, you don't completely lose them.

There are still parts of those persons in your life that you took from them little by little over the years. And as much as you want them to really disappear, you would still cling to that remnants of memories—of that love.

Because there is a part of you that still wants them, and even if you found someone else's to love one day, you would sometimes find yourself looking back to their memories. Thinking how much you missed them, or wishing it was them to spend your whole life with.
