ally or foe (chapter 2)

"Uh drista we're not alone"

Drista pov-

Tommy looked around but it was to dark to see. "Tommy are you just trying to scare me?" Tommy shook his head.

She looked around again hoping to see something she didn't see before.

Turns out she didn't have to look because she heard a large grumble. A zombie grumble. "Tommy" drista tapped him. He looked at me. "Zombie"

The zombie came running at us. Drista screamed and ran, well tommy dragging her, but same difference. They ran deeper into the cave turning to avoid the aggressive mobs.

"Tommy what do we do! We have no weapons" Drista screamed while trying not to trip. "Just run till we loose them!" Easier said than done.

She looked behind them and saw a baby zombie gaining on us. She tried to pick up her paste but wasn't paying attention to her surrounding and fell. "Shit" tommy stopped and helped her up but the baby zombie caught up and attacked him. "TOMMY" he fell to the ground wrestling the baby zombie.

Heart appeared above him. Drista looked up and saw the hearts were slowly going down. "Shit" she grabbed a stick and hit the zombie "hey ugly fight someone your own size" the zombie got up and looked at her with its empty eyes. Then it lunged, drista was ready to fight but an arrow hit the zombie. "What the-" then another and another. Drista looked around trying to see where they were coming from.

She looked back and the zombie was dead. She heard a big woosh behind her and turned around and saw a man with big wings. "Are you kids alright?" She just stared at him not being able to say anything. He looked over at tommy. "Do you need food to replenish your hearts mate?" Drista looked at tommy and he nodded.

Philza's pov-

He gave the kids some food. "Why are you guys out here alone?" He ask. "Our uh village was attacked by humans." The kids looked down. "Oh i see, and where are you guys heading?" "We are trying to find the last known other village" philza raised my eye brow. "What origin are you? If i may ask" the kids looked at each other. "Avian" they said at the same time.

To say he was shock was a understatement. Avians havnt been hears from in years. "What origin are you" the girl asks. "Oh im a elytrian" the kids nodded. "I could help you guys find this village if you want." They looked relived "yes please we have been lost for a while" he chuckled. "Lets head back to my place first and get some supplies." They nodded and got up.

We walked for a while till we finally reached the mouth of the cave. "Finally sun light" the girl said. "Oh hey i forgot to ask your names" "oh im drista and this is my older brother tommy" he nodded. "Nice to meet you tommy and drista im philza but you can just call me phil" the kids nodded and continued to follow me.

Tommy-

Tommy slowly trudged behind philza. He didn't know if he could trust the guy.

He was to lost in his thought to notice the big house up ahead. "We're here" phil announced. Tommy looked up and stared at it in aw. "Wow this is a big place" "thanks for stating the obvious" drista said, Tommy rolled his eyes and continued to observer the area around them.

The front yard was a big garden with lost of beautiful flowers. Off to the side was a small farm. There was a walk way down the middle heading to the house. We walked into the house. A huge family room was to the right. To the left was a big kitchen with a island and a dinning room combined. Up ahead was spiral stairs and a railing to no one would fall of at the top.

"I will show you guys your rooms." He walked them to the stairs. Across the stairs was 2 doors. "There are 2 rooms there" he pointed then walked up the stairs.

When they got up the stairs there was a long open hallway with 6 doors, 3 on each side. "We also have a 3rd floor with 2 more rooms" "we will take the rooms up stairs might be our best bet at breathing while we sleep" phil nodded and showed us up stairs. "There is a bathroom at the end of the hallway here, and at the end of the hallway on the second floor" they nodded and went our separate ways into our rooms.

Tommy looked around his room. It was simple it had a bed with a wardrobe by it and a desk across the room. There is also a door leading out to a balcony.

He walked out onto the balcony. The sun was setting and it looked really pretty. He looked out at the garden admiring its beauty but his mind wonders back to his village and his people. He hope that at least some people made it out alive. Tommy sighed he would just have to make it to the othe avian village they can help his people.

Tommy was pulled out his thought by a knock on the door. "Come in" a few seconds later phil came in. "Hey tommy we should head out early so get some shut eye" tommy nodded "ok." Then he left.

Tommy walked over to the bed and layed down. Multiple things running threw his head but in the end sleepiness took over.
