Invisible (chapter 17)

"How far is Arachne village?" Foolish asked, " a day or so away, that's saying we don't run into any issues on the way." Said Phil, "Phil you may have jinxed us just by saying that."

As if on cue arrows came soaring from the trees. Wilbur shot Phil a 'I told you so' look then grabbed a rock and pelted it at a tree before going invisible.

Phil jumped up and flapped his wings to make a sharp gasped of wind into some of the trees. Multiple people fell out and tired to run away. All of which subsequently fell on their faces and didn't get back up, thanks Foolish.

With in seconds everyone was taken out.Foolish appeared next to Phil again. "I'm going to assume  they were sent to stop us from reaching the shulk tavern." Foolish looked at Phil "wouldn't have guessed that." "I'm bout done with your attitude mate."

"Look at you guys, bickering like children." They stopped. "Who's there?" No response. They repeated, this time a figure came swooping out of the trees. It was beau, "beau? I thought you were supposed to be with Drista and the others?" Phil said.

"Oh we got separated, I was lost but then I heard the fight over here and found you guys." She said with a smile, "Glad I did to, those woods are creepy." "Well it's good that your safe" said Phil.

"Wait whose this?" Asked Foolish, "oh yeah, Foolish this is beau a avain, beau this is Foolish a phantom." Beau waved at him, "nice to meet you"

Foolish noticed she had almost a sickly smile, he didn't get a good vibe around her, something was off. Phill didn't seem to notice anything unusual though so Foolish dropped it.

"So why are those guys after you?" She asked, "long story mate" philza said with a sigh.

Foolish studied her carefully, he was going to keep an eye on her, maybe he was being a bit paranoid but he didn't just trust anyone, besides Philza but he's different. It's hard not to trust him.

Foolish tapped Phil and whispered in his ear. Beau tried to get closer to hear but Foolish made it quick so she couldn't. Phil nodded.

"Well let's go mates!" Phil started walking. Wilbur stayed close behind him and beau.
"So where are we going?" Asked beau, "we are going to-" Foolish cut Phil off. "You'll see when we get there"

Beau gave him a look that he couldn't decipher. "Yea whatever" she said.

They kept walking, beau tried to keep the small talk up while slowly trying to figure out where they were going.

After what seemed like forever they left the flat part of the forest and seemed to go down a more rugged steep path.

"Soooo, how much farther do we have?" Ask beau. Foolish rolled his eyes, this was like the 10th time she's asked. "You will see when we get there."

"Well it seems like we may never get there, it's taking soooo long." She replied, "well maybe it would go faster if you didn't ask how much farther every few seconds." He replied annoyed.

"Wow ok ok mates let's calm down, we will be there in a days travel, by first light we should be there." Phil said, hoping the fighting would stop.

"But where is 'there'" she asked. "You ask a lot of questions." Grumbled Foolish.

Suddenly Phil stopped walking. "Hey beau I have a question?" "Yea?" "When I left you guys the avian village was a good 10 or so miles away." "Yea?" She asked cautiously.

"If you were to have gotten separated after the commotion started which was likely because I saw you guys run away together, I would assume you got a good bit away." He stated

"Well yea, after about a mile that's when we got separated, all the twists and turns." She said nervously.

"Well then how did you get to where I was so fast? I was a good bits away, way to far for you to get to me on foot."

There was a pause before she lunged at Phil screaming. They both fell to the ground and tumbled down the steep hill. Foolish ran after them.

When they stopped rolling beau was on top of Phil holding a knife inches from his face. The only thing stopping her from stabbing him was Phil holding her arms.

Foolish was no where to be seen.

"I WILL FIND OUT WHERE YOUR GOING!!! TELL ME!" She screamed.

Phil didn't respond bc even though she didn't look like she would be strong, she was very strong so Phil was having a difficult time.

Phil looked around hoping to see foolish but he didn't. He thought for sure he was about to die. Why did beau want to know where they were going so bad? Why all of a sudden is she bad?

The knife was inching closer and closer to him until beau went flying off of him. Suddenly foolish was visible.

"Your welcome" he said sarcastically.

Phil rolled his eyes, "these damn kids are going to kill me." He muttered.

They both walked over to beau, who was laying still on the ground. "Oh no! Did I kill her." He said though it didn't sound like he cared.

"No her chest is still moving up and down, she's fine." Phil replied, "what should we do with her?" Foolish asked.

A few minute later they had beau propped up against a tree a few minutes back from were they where.

"That should throw her off a little bit." Said Phil. He and foolish left her there. Phil made sure to leave her food and water of course.

They continued their journey when Phil suddenly stopped and freezes. "What's wrong Philza?" Foolish asked. "If she's here, where are the others?" Foolish was confused, who where the others?

"I don't know what your talking about." Phil explained a very simple version of what happened.

"Here's the deal," Phil said, "I will take u to the shulk tavern, drop you off, and go find the others. Make sure Tommy know to meet back at the safe house when your guys training is done."

Foolish nodded. They continued on, even though foolish was ready to finally be done traveling and found out what's going on. He a little bit sad he has to leave Phil.

Phil saved him. If he wasn't there when his sister died, then who knows what could have happened. Phil was there for him through this whole journey (that they've barley been on) he couldn't bare to see him leave.

Phil picked up on his mood. "Awe mate, are you going to miss me?" He asked jokingly. "What? Of course not."

Phil was about to reply when he stop. "We are here, Arachne village."

Phil walked into town. Foolish following close behind.

Finally. Their training was about to begin.
