Love or to Be Loved? [Continued but slowly]

Chapter 16

"You work here?" Mina asked Dahyun.

"Yeah. As a part-timer." She replied.

Dahyun walked away to deliver some more orders to the customers in the cafe.

"Why you look so shocked?" Asks Sana.

"oh. nothing. Just felt unusual." Mina replied.

"She's a great person. Even though she came from an affluent family, she works to earn money for herself. She is also one of the top students in our college." Says Sana.

"How did you know her?" asked Mina

"Well she's one of the school council member. We work together." 

Mina took her coffee and drank it for a while.

"Ah I'm feeling insecure again. She's a busy person but still managed to score well on her exams?" Mina monologued inside her head.

Sana noticed Mina looked... a bit unhappy.

"You're okay?" 

"Yeah." Mina answered.

Mina lied to Sana. and Sana knows it.

Momo and Dahyun came to their table.

"Anyeong Momo! How are you?" Sana asked.

"Im good! Dahyun told me a lot about you. You look as pretty as she said."

"Ahah really? *blushes* looks like Dahyun is done with her shift." Says Sana.

"Yeahhhh. It was a bit tiring since its weekend. There's a lot of customers that come to this cafe." Dahyun said.

Momo grabbed Mina's hand and sat closely to her. Mina smiled.

Sana sighed out of relied. She's glad that Momo is here too.

They talked with each other until noon.
