An Earthquake in My Body

12 2 3

You said such simple words
I do hope they were for me...
For their magnitude was an earthquake in my body
I came alive for an uncontrollable moment, fantasies I've tried to stifle -- running wild; running free --
Feeling the pressure of your lips against mine
Your tongue against mine
The weight of you on top of me

I was breathlessly swept away

That's the power of your words.

I feel everything.
Everything.
