Timeless Rose

Crash landing

So It took a little longer than planned but the first chapter of part two, yes it is quite short but it's just the opening the others are quite longer.

without further ado chapter one of a Timeless Rose

The last Rose sees of her first home is the shocked looks on her brother's faces; they weren't sure if she was ready even if they had been practicing for years. She is falling through time and space, back to her Doctor, back to her true home, her heart.

She is like Alice falling down the rabbit hole. Just falling falling falling, time racing around her at an alarming speed. She can see vivid images of not just her timeline but all of them. Her mind is reeling trying to process it all.

She lands in his lap with an umpfth, startling everybody in the room. She gives the unfamiliar face a tired smile, ignoring everyone else, they didn't matter not now they were together again. She knows it's him, she can feel it in her mind though the bond feels strained somehow, who knows how long he has waited for her, how many regenerations he went through waiting for her to come home. Tears gather in her tired eyes; she lets her head connect with his chest letting the beating of his hearts calm her.

"Doctor." She whispers relief colouring the word, she passes out exhausted from her journey.

The room stares in muted shock at this impossible woman surrounded in time energy. As she loses consciousness the room breaks out into whispers.

'Who is she?'

'Is she dead?'

'How does she know him?'

'Where did she come from?'

The man at the front of the room silences them with a look moving to the Doctor's side he looks the woman over checking her vitals, as he asks.

"Theta who is this?"
