Hi guys, I am soo sorry I've not posted in a while

I promise I haven't given up on any of my stories

This is the last chapter in the timeless Rose I won't give away where the next story starts but it will be uploaded separately

It was Koschei that notices first, the Doctor wasn't around as much. Rose was spending less time with the others. Smug little shit he was. It didn't take long for the whole of Gallifrey to know they were together.

The council was outraged when they found out, but what could they do. She was the golden Rose, the big bad wolf, The goddess of time and space, they couldn't exactly overrule her. His family were ecstatic, they didn't understand why she picked him out of all the other timelords, but they were happy she did. Her loving Theta elevated their family.

Theta didn't care, she was all he cared about not his family's standing he hadn't cared about that in a long time

They had hundreds of years together two wonderful children multiple grandchildren.

But even in those hundreds of years Rose couldn't experiment with her powers, couldn't risk getting stronger in fear of the council finding out that she could barely perform parlour tricks, they would take everything from her.

And she knew that day was coming, she could feel it in her bones the storm was coming, the beginning of a very old storm, the beginning of the oncoming storm, this was it the moment that made him, her Doctor.

She went to Irving first, knowing his job as Lord burner, erasing people from history. He was the best place to start, she told him everything she knew. She could always trust her brother, telling him how he could save her family by destroying all their records, saving who they could because Rose knew she couldn't save all of them, she'd know from the moment her son was born, the moment she swaddled him to her chest, she would have to watch her boy die.

Next was Ushas and Mortimus, she told them to escape the planet when they could, she couldn't give them any details but both trusted her dearly, she had even officiated their bonding ceremony, the only one she was willing to do on Gallifrey because Ushas had become one of her dearest friends.

She said goodbye to Drax, hugging him tightly, he knows something bad is coming he can see it brewing in her eyes. She laughs his concern away reminding him that with her gone he will finally meet his wife; he doesn't care she is his sister in all but blood. She nods in agreement wiping away tears this goodbye would be one of the worst, she wouldn't see Drax again for many years, the others escape Gallifrey before or during the war Drax stays, she doesn't know how she will ever see him again.

She chooses not to say goodbye to Borusa instead choosing to leave him a gift. A single image from the future; the Doctor and their granddaughter, with a note on the back, safely hidden from Time lords. I promise you this I couldn't save them all, but I give you this. She signed it with a golden rose.

She goes for one last dinner with Magnus they chat until he must leave, shocking him with a hug. He nods in understanding, he's not stupid enough to think what comes next isn't bad. She stays long after he is gone chatting about everything and nothing with Ollieru, eventually she leaves with a tearful goodbye that the woman doesn't truly understand. Going home to her family one last time.

The next day she calls a family meeting her, the Doctor, their son and daughter, and all five grandchildren.

The grandchildren are sent to the garden to play with the exception of Roses name sake, Arkytior she's old enough to have earned a place at the table.

They are all waiting, they know something is wrong they have sensed her unease.

Rose doesn't get to speak, blaster fire shatters the tranquil afternoon, children's laughter turns to screams. Their son Ulysses dives for the door, taking a shot to the chest. As the regeneration energy overcomes him, they shoot again. His body falling dead at his mother's feet. Rose lets out a scream she's out of time, they're here.

"Run."
"No mum." Celesia sobs, clinging to her father's arms.

"Rose see reason." The Doctor agues giving the two girls what little comfort he could.
"Grandmother I," Arkytior whispers burying her head in her grandfather's chest.

"No, you need to listen to me it's too late, but I can still save you run there is a Tardis in the museum its unlocked, go before they figure out where you are going." She lies, she knows their daughter won't make it that far, she will be shot down saving her niece leaving a bloody impression on the Tardis closest.

Rose with cold composer walks out the front door pausing to send her son one last glance, her brave noble son far to kind for this planet, for these people.

Her eyes skate over the front yards, tears gathering at the sight of tiny bodies, laying lifeless in her garden like saplings ripped from the ground. The red grass hiding the river of blood settling around her home.

"Was all this," She pauses. "Really necessary Lord president."

He says nothing standing with several members of the council and the chancellery guards.
"They were your children and grandchildren; they were a threat to Gallifrey."
"Mayhaps you should have killed me first then."
"Why would I do that?"

"Why, well look around do you think I'm going to let you live."

"You don't have the power see, lady goddess I've figured you out. The reason you don't use your powers is because you can't because if you could we," He motions around himself "would already be dead, and you grandchildren would still be alive."

She says nothing what can she say. But the longer she can keep them here the safer the last of her family would be.

"Come along lady goddess I think we have hosted you long enough."

"What is this place."

"Well come to the Time vault it's where we lock up dangerous artefacts until they are of use to us. Now I'll need you to put your hand on this little box. There you go.".

With a flash of light it is done. Bad wolf, the goddess of time and space has been sealed away. Imprisoned in the Omega Arsenal.
