first kiss

it's very short but the next chapter is the last and I didn't want to accidentally spoil anything

The Doctor confuses her, he is hers she knows this, she loves him no matter what body he is in, but he's not him yet. She looks into those beautiful eyes, there is no love, no happiness, those eyes just look straight through her.

At first, she avoids him, she can't stand to have him treat her like a stranger. Unfortunately for her Koschei spent all his time seeking her out, trying to get a rise out of her. And of course where Koschei went the Doctor was sure to follow.

The man drove her crazy, but since Koschei was the Doctor first and dearest friend he could live, even if all she wanted to do was Tyler slap him out of this stupid bell jar.

But it was Borusa that got them together, she should have never told him anything. He spent all his time trying to get them alone together. And generally succeeded, crafty old timelord.

She knew in the past the Doctor had a wife, she is not so naive to think he we wait all those years for her, but it still hurt to think that she would be here to see him fall in love with another. It wasn't until she was meditating within the arch that she realised the truth.

It was her it was always her, the reason the Doctor never bonded with his first wife was she was already bonded to him, just a future version of himself. They were always meant to fall together forever through time and space, the Doctor and his wolf.

Suddenly she wasn't so averse to spending time with him, actively seeking him out. She longed for the days they could sit, and he would tell her his dreams of exploration, she would smile and ask to go with him. His eyes would light up at the idea.

Their first kiss. No the Doctors first kiss was not romantic nor was it as she remembered. But this wasn't her doctor not yet, he had yet to fall in love with her. Affection, especially physical affection was banned on Gallifrey. She had asked him had he ever been kissed, she was only teasing but he didn't know what she was talking about. He disappeared off returning to her door a few days later, he knew what a kiss was now, he won't tell her how but she's sure he asked Koschei. He looks a little wild that day, not the kept together time lord she was used to seeing here. His eyes are darting around as if waiting for someone to appear at her door as if she wasn't the most important person in Gallifrey. Before finally in her doorway he leans forwards giving her enough time to pull away if she chooses too. Brushing his lips gently against hers. The kiss is over fast, he's gone faster. Rose is left frozen in her doorway; she was the Doctors first kiss. She can't help but smile even though he has run from her. He'll come back when he has sorted out his feeling either that or she will have to hunt him down, just so she can return the kiss.

very sorry it's such a short chapter after so long I'm not going to make any next chapter promises you know what I'm like I can't stick to them but I will say I've already started the next chapter.
