Sojung suddenly opened her eyes when she heard Yerin's laugh outside so she quickly stood up and gazed outside the house. Her laugh is vociferous— it's as if something ridiculous happened.
"Wait...what are they doing?" She hides at the back of the plants and bends forward. Her eyebrows furrowed upon seeing Eunbi and Yerin lying on the mat while watching the night sky. They even talked to each other and Eunbi whispered something to Yerin.
"Oh, something's fishy here."
She's worried that Eunbi might cheat on Yewon but seeing them like that brings thrill to her heart. She didn't know that Eunbi's relationship with Yewon is just one-sided so she's really worried for Yewon. Nevertheless, she can't deny that these two suits each other. She thought that if Eunbi and Yewon aren't together, she wants Yerin to be Eunbi's girlfriend because it matches her personality. A cold girl needs a hilarious bright girl.
Meanwhile, Eunbi looked at Yerin who's now sleeping tightly.
"Yah, Yerin." She poked her again but she didn't wake up. She's sleeping peacefully, it's like there's an angel beside her.
"So, you didn't hear what I said? Aish, okay. Good night." She doesn't know if she's disappointed or what because Yerin wasn't able to hear that she doesn't want to be her friend but rather wants more than that.
She abruptly gets up and carried Yerin inside the house. She carefully put her on the bed and sat beside her.
Seeing her like this gives her gratification. She can't take off her eyes at her angelic face. Her skin is glowing and she never saw anyone as white as her in her entire life. Her sleeping face allures her to just stare at it. There's something on it that makes her gaze at her. I mean, she can stare at her for a long time without being cloyed with it.
She wants to stay like this for a while, she suddenly feels that she want to protect this girl, she wants to be her armor or her shield from those harmful men.
"And what's the meaning of that?" Eunbi was startled when Sojung suddenly spoke behind her so she quickly stood up and face her.
"What do you mean?" Eunbi curiously asked and stood still.
Sojung's eyes narrowed into slits and got annoyed a little bit at how Eunbi act like nothing happened.
"I saw the two of you, lying together on a mat. You looked so sweet. Now tell me..." She went closer to Eunbi and stared at her maliciously. "Are you two dating?"
"What are you talking about?"
"I'm just asking. I just want to enlighten myself about what I noticed and saw."
"N-no."
Sojung embraced her and looked at her. "Eunbi, I'm okay with Yerin. In fact, if you and Yewon aren't together, I want her for you. But think about the possible consequences. Think about what Yewon would feel. She loves you so much. You also love her, right?"
Eunbi didn't answer. She can't say that she only pities Yewon that's why she agreed to be her girlfriend. But what bothers her is the way Sojung talked. It's like she'll get mad at her if she cheats on Yewon.
